"They don't trust you, do they?" Zenith stared at the horizon, sighing thoughtfully before answering.
"No, I suppose they don't" she answered softly, her tone wistful. "I didn't expect them to, but --" she paused, gathering her thoughts, "I wanted them too." A glimpse of pain sparked in her azure eyes, covered up almost immediately.

Thyiri scrutinized Zenith for a moment before looking back at the horizon, caught between the fact that this could all be an elaborate act and the wish to trust someone, for once in her short, unhappy, secretive life. She bit her lip. "Any idea why they seem negatively predisposed?"

Zenith gave a wry smile, "Oh I have plenty of ideas as to why they wouldn't trust me." she paused a second before continuing, "But I think the biggest reason is that they just need someone to be suspiscous of. That way there's a clear boundary separating themselves from me, and keeping them 'safe'." she sighed, brushing aside a dark strand of hair.

Dalen slept peacefully for once, free of the fitful dreams that he had been having for a while now. For him though, even when he had bad dreams, they were still welcome, because he always knew they weren't true, and he knew that most of those fears were from his own mind, and had a very small chance of coming true. The most prominent one, though, was the fall of the Exiles, and the burning of their city by the Usurpers. For some reason, he could never dismiss that one as easily as he did the others.

"That's silly," was Thyiri's blunt reply. "They could have been suspicious of me, and they were more likely to." She gave a mirthless laugh. "Actually, I'm thinking they likely are."

((Oi, I've been gone for a while...))
Tynel kept practicing until the the sun moved right into his eyes. He then watched the horizon for a while, until he remembered his promise to Dalen. Ty walked below deck, heading to where Dalen was sleeping.
"Dalen? Dalen, you asked me to wake you up." He didn't talk loudly, but he didn't whisper.
"Dalen..." still nothing. Tynel sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Dalen, we are all going to drown because we hit a reef and the boat is sinking." He couldn't beleive this. He was still asleep.
"DALEN!!" Tynel stood back, as the man finally woke up.

Dalen barely managed to keep a smile off his face and his eyes closed as Tynel tried waking him up. It was always interesting to see what people would do when they couldn't wake you up. At least Tynel only yelled, instead of pushing Dalen out of the bunk.
"Dalen! Wake Up!" Tynel hollered at him, and Dalen opened one eye 'groggily.'
"I'm up, I'm up," he said, rolling off the bunk onto his feet. "Thanks," he added. He put his armor on once again, and buckled his axe and crossbow on, since he still didn't trust everyone on the ship, but left his shield where it was. Padding up to the deck after Tynel, he grimaced as he stepped on a small splinter in his bare feet, but pulled it out without any more change in expression, walking around the deck to see what they were doing.

Tynel walked out to the deck, looking around. Zenith and Thyiri were talking, Mari was at the whell, as ussual, but he didn't see Raven. Odd, he thought. He stepped to the side as Dalen passed him, going off to do something or another. Ty looked around again, searching for Raven.
"I don't know, two, mabye three days..." Raven's words from the day before echoed in his mind. It had almost been two days now, and he needed to speak with Raven about something. Soon.

Raven, as it was, was belowdeck now, in her hammock again, while trying vainly to go to sleep. She had begun feeling really strange after what had happened that morning, and that feeling just wasn't going away.

Tynel looked around deck for a while, still no sign of Raven. She has to be somewhere on the ship. Ty went below deck.
"Raven? Are you down here?" He whispered slightly, not wanting to wake her if she was indeed asleep.

"Yes, I'm here." Raven called, jerked out of her half-dozing state at the sound of his voice.

Tynel walked over to her bunk and gave a sigh of relief when he saw her.
"Good, I couldn't find you. Please forgive me if I woke you, but we have to discuss an urgent matter." His face turned serious as he looked causiously around.

Sitting up, Raven's brow furrowed slightly, and she pushed her hair down over her ears almost absently.

Tynel leant agaist a pole that was off to his right, and once again looked around.
"Once we get to...our destination. What will happen if any of our crew members are ursurpers? We could set all of the exiles in jepordy. But I don't see how it can be avoided if they do get to the capital, unless we resort to murder, which I find a bit inhumane and extream."

Raven remained silent for a moment, clearly searching for the best answer and option. "Well..if they are Usurpers[/i], we'll have to turn them in to the authorities as soon as we get there..then they'd be under the Queen's jurisdiction, and she would do to them as she saw fit."

"Yes, but then there is the issue of finding out if they are or not, and if at all possible, can we make them see what they are doing is wrong? and mabye even help us. The last thing I want to do is put an innocent person in jail." Tynel's voice trailed off, "I have seen it happen too many times under the order of the Ursurpers."
