Shade looked at the girl and gave her a "Get out of here" look, and then looked back at Selena. "Look, snake, I don't want to deal with you. But if I catch you bothering Layien or Smith again..." He left the threat hanging as they neared the school. He turned and went back to sit with his sister, knowing he'd have to deal with the slythrin again soon.

Emmeline saw Shade and decided to go sit with him, maybe Selena would leave him alone if a Prefect was around. She didn't think so, but it was worth a try. Emmeline sent a glare at Selena and turned to Shade,
"Hey, can I sit with you guys, every where else is full?"

Shade decided to look out the window. He had already talked more today than, he believed, he did the entire year when he was a 5th year. He didn't like people to think of him as "chatty."

Layien, was the complete opposite, ready for confrasation, hoping it would get the past events of the train ride out of her mind.

"Out of the way, move it or lose it!"

Roughly brushing past several first- and second-years that were mingling out in the corridor, Zack Zabini(as he was more commonly known) gave them an exasperated glare over his shoulder, before returning to his compartment study. Full here, full there...full everywhere! So much for Prefect duty assuring you a seat on the train..wait. There's one.

Sliding open the compartment where Selena - whom Zack knew from reputation alone, not to mention being in the same House as her - sat alone, he indicated the open seats across from her with a jerk of his head. "Mind if I sit there?"

"Ugh...when are we going to get there?" Madison groaned, staring blankly out of the window, where the darkening landscape rushed passed by blurrily..rain had begun to fall at that point.

"Same time as we always do every year..eventually." Aidan broke in wryly, tugging at the neck of his school robes, which he had slipped on over his Muggle attire.

"Oi..don't start up that again." Jacob broke in, almost sharply - glasses flashing - as Madison opened her mouth to give some sort of retort. All too well he knew the twins' tendency to argue and bicker constantly..it was just in their nature, and had been during the now-six years he had known them.

"Who said we were going to?" Madison said in an undertone, giving Jacob her classic exasperated look.

"Who said you weren't?" broke in Aaron, glancing at them owlishly over the top of the book he had been reading. "We know you too well..and you know it."

Madison growled quietly and adjusted her glasses, then glanced irritably down at her school robes, where her Quidditch Captain's badge hung askew against the black fabric. Adjusting it, she then folded her arms, and silence resumed in the compartment...for the time being, at least.

Selena nodded. "Sure, it's nice to see another Slytherin. All I have really seen to day has been the Weasleys, the Potters, and Smith." She glanced at her robes. "Great, I forgot to mention I need a new uniform in the letter." She muttered, the letter she had sent with the owl her fater had given her for partial use, it was the family's of course.

"In other words, the Ragtag bunch." Zach drawled, closing the compartment door behind him with a smirk, before flopping into the nearest seat, upon which he took the opportunity to prop his feet up on the seat across from him.

"Honestly..why they let people like that into Hogwarts is beyond me."

Selena sneered. "I know. I of course had to teach them a lesson, well the boys that is. I supose you heard?" She asked

"Vague details, yes." Zach muttered, running a hand through his hair and tousling it out of habit. "Enough to know that I'd hate to cross you."
