(Actually the female Maedan was supposed to be one of the two delegates... anyway, whatever)
Keeping a wary eye out, na'Tatha tucked the fans into her sash, accepting a sidearm from one of the Taarin guards. She kept close to the delegates as they proceeded through the building.

Oops, sorry about that, Valera. I hadn't realized that.
I like your Jaina Solo banner....where'd you get the two pictures on the left? I don't know that I've seen those two before.
Sahrai hurried. "If we could step up the pace, it'd be nice," he said over his shoulder, watching the doors and corridors that ended in the one that they were in. Viree could only block off the Maedan in one of them at a time, so there was no telling who might come around the corner. He had a feeling that the majority of the Taarin guards had been neutralized, which was never a good thing.

Viree13 smirks slightly, her amalgamated form switching off the doors so that they remain closed, the one passageway to the docking bay completely closed off from outside tunnels. In her wake she leaves a trail of dead and dying enemies and blood....

(Thx. Google image search is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I wouldn't mind getting involved in a NJO RPG I assume you're a fan of Gladiator)
The male Maedan delegate attempted to dash off toward one of the doors into the corridor, only to be forced into an armlock by Y'Garam. "Don't make me hurt you - you're worth more to us alive."
As they entered the hangar, na'Tatha slipped off ten meters ahead and to the side, crouching behind a pallet of cargo containers, providing cover for the party as they proceeded toward the ships.

But no cover was needed. The doors to the hangar had been shut and the controls smashed. Any gaurds lay dead on the floor among pools of their own blood. A steady trail of glistening dark, almost black-red blood led towards their ship. A familiar figure stood by the ship, her back against the side of the ship, waiting. "What took ya so long?... Thought I cleared it out pretty well... Did I miss a few?..." Viree13 grins slightly, masking the pain in her eyes.....

Just a note, Luinnar - Lightsabers would seal a wound shut even as they cut through them, so they wouldn't leave a trail of blood. I do'nt know if you were thinking that she was using her lightsabers or something else, but...I thought I'd point it out.
"We'll meet you back at the base," Sahrai said to na'Tatha and Y'Garam. "I think I'll escort you out of here, though, because your ship doesn't look very heavily armed, and there are probably a lot of Maedan fighters up there now," he added, walking up the Serendipity's ramp, followed by Viree and Kyane. "No, it looked like you did a pretty good job of it, Viree," he said to the female Jedi once they were on board.

(Ahh... I said she hid weapons on her form... She carries twin lightsabers, but her hidden weapons are blaster guns and other things.... Things that cause bleeding, even an old-fashioned knife.... Because she's ALSO a Bounty-Hunter....)
Viree13 winced as she followed him up the ramp, but turned it into a smirk. "You know it...." When they had boarded the ship, she again stayed standing up, but she leant against the wall, her arms crossed.....

Oh, sorry, I had forgotten about that - it's been a while since I read her bio.
Sahrai grinned as Viree took her customary pose of leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. He would have thought she'd learned that when they were flying into a combat zone with him piloting, she might have trouble keeping her balance. 'Ah well....if she wants to,' he thought to himself, plopping down in the pilots seat and strapping on his crash webbing. He lifted the Serendipity up a little bit before the Taarin Shuttle lifted off, but keeping close as the two eased out of the hangar. "Gun turrets, now!" Sahrai hollered, knowing that Kyane and Viree would be on there way. The Maedan fighters swarming in would not be looking for prisoners, at least not from the Serendipity. Some high-ranking Taarin officials, however.... He did what he could to stay between the shuttle and the fighters, though that was rather hard to do when there were several dozen of the little things. Red bolts began appearing on his viewscreen from the top and bottom of the ship, and from the Shuttle's single turret. The gunners were at work.

(I like the new banner )
As the energy bolts began audibly sizzling through the air, na'Tatha strapped one of the shuttle's emergency kits to her back, making sure that the parachute rip cord was easily accessible. If things got too bad, the passengers would have to eject in two stages - first the passenger compartment from the shuttle, and then the people from the compartment. She wasn't too worried about that, though. The diplomatic shuttle had an accurate close-range point-defense system, and the single gunner, sitting next to the pilot, was a man she'd worked with combating pirates. He was one of the best in the business. The shuttle traced an erratic flight path, taking advantage of its small size to evade targeting locks.

Thanks, Valera. It doesn't exactly go with the Bluish-Purple of Arwen-undomiel, though....>_<
A fighter exploded in a burst of bright fire and flaming parts, crashing down into the lands beneath. "Nice shooting, whoever that was," Sahrai said to himself, throwing the Serendipity into a spin that would probably make Kyane and Viree a little dizzy, but not enough that they could shoot. He was very relieved to see that the Taarin shuttle was methodically homing in on and destroying fighters - he had been worried about their accuracy. As the shuttle went off on a weaving course back towards Taarin airspace, Sahrai moved his ship into a parallel position, matching the shuttle move for move, while still trying to give the gunners a clear shot.

Kyane swivelled the turret, tracking a particularly fidgety fighter. Whoever was piloting it seemed to think that all the rest were after him - he wouldn't keep on a course for more than two seconds. Finally he managed to clip the fighter, sending it into a spin that ended in a brilliant explosion as the rest of his bolts went home. The Jedi ignored it, merely blinking away the bright afterimage while searching for a new target. In a few minutes, they should reach Taarin airspace. Already dark spots were appearing on the horizon coming rapidly towards them - air support, for their side.

Viree13 heard Sahrai, but had already turned to make her way to the left station. Wincing slightly but not noticeably, she sits down and immediately begins scanning the skies. A few drops of blood trickle down the leg of the gunman's chair as she swivels to keep up with the fighters outside, blasting them into smithereens.....

(Would the jedi ship be able to match the shuttle "move for move"? because obviously something that is space-worthy is going to be more massive than an atmospheric craft, which cuts down on manueverability)
The passengers on the diplomatic shuttle braced themselves on the seats as the craft was buffeted by the shockwaves from the explosions around them.
A light began blinking on the communications panel. na'Tatha activated the link - the pilot had his hands full. "Taara One, this is White Flight. Head for home; we'll keep the hostiles off your tail."
Y'Garam leaned over. "White Flight, this is Defense Associate Y'Garam. You will deal with this strictly defensively, I repeat, defensively only."
"Yes, sir." The channel closed, and the pilot straightened the craft and opened the throttle.

Good point, Valera....that hadn't occurred to me.
The Taarin fighters came up in a rush, their blaster cannons spitting destruction. They formed up behind the shuttle and the gunship, and the Maedan fighters rose to the attack. In moments there were dogfights all over the skies - more than one pilot would be walking home. Sahrai merely felt relief that the immediate threat was done for those in the larger ships, but he imagined that in the shuttle, cheers and shouts were sounding every time a Taarin fighter scored a hit, or was scored. As the ships streaked towards Taara, Viree and Kyane continued to blast at the fighters, each managing a parting shot before they were out of range.

As the shuttle streaked through the atmosphere, Head Associate di'Tonoro leaned forward, addressing Y'Garam and na'Tatha. "Well? Have those fine brains of yours determined the cause of this fiasco?"
The subcommander let Y'Garam field the crochety old leader's question. "I got the distinct impression they were stalling. Beyond that - nothing." As he spoke, he bent over the screens projecting from the arm of his chair, displaying military satellite data and division reports.
"That's odd. So did I." di'Tonoro's voice was thick with sarcasm. "And regardless of what they said, the Maedan didn't seem to mind that they were pulling us to the brink of civil war. These talks obviously are over; it's back to the drawing board, eh?"
"Sir, I don't recommend that." na'Tatha straightened in her seat, organizing her thoughts. "We've demonstrated our willingness to negotiate; they ran right over us. We need to tell the Maedan that our sovereignty may not be trifled with. Our commitment to peace does not extend to leaving our people vulnerable."
Y'Garam nodded as the shuttle touched down in the capitol's hangar, settling in a cloud of venting gases. "I agree. The first response is obviously strategic missile strikes on their launching platforms. We will not lose another city."
