No sound was heard but suddenly a hat appeared from out of the smoke. It fell to the ground. It had been clearly hit with a bullet and was slightly smoking from it. It was Jack's hat....

Blackbeard followed his treasure-laden men with their new supplies back to the rowboats to ferry them back to the ship. The prisoners were shoved in them roughly.
