Jadis continued to glide up the snowy hill, until she was within a few feet from her sled and the dwarf. "You know why I have come," the witch said sarcasticly as she lifted her chest high. "Now if you don't mind, Aslan, hand them over."

Jadis became quite frustrated at this question and answered, "Well, because....I want them." She then began to tell a lie to Aslan, "You see, they are traitors to you Aslan. They spoke badly of you and now they are trying to win you over. They are rightfully mine." She said this so softly and calmly that anyone would believe her lies and witchcraft.

Sery looked at the witch and aslan leave....she looked almost gentle, of course Sery could still see the piercing hatred in her eyes....she turned to clevesna "alsan wont give in to her...yet i know she wont give us up...."

After much fanning away the aweful smell from the stag with his hand and hat he finally slid his back down against the sled...and yes, had fallen asleep.

(Sorry! First week back to school was hectic!!!)
Aslan lowers his head slowly in what appears to be acknowledgement, then suddenly lets out a fearsome roar that shakes the ground where they stand, holding the sound for well over a minute. After the noise dies, he looks back at Jadis. "There is your answer, Witch......"

The witch's face turned into that of terror. Her eye color now turned to a dark blue. She held her breath as Aslan continued to roar.
When he was finished, she turned on her heels and ran away.
