Hearing her nearly shout, Gareth walked over to where the women sat. As the mage came up to them, Calista flung herself in his arms and just started to sob against his chest, at a complete loss of what to do.
"Shhh...It will be all right..." Gareth whispered soothingly to her as he held her tight and stroked her hair.

"I have to try and heal him, Gareth," Calista murmured against his chest.
"Calista..." Gareth replied and tensed as the woman lifted her head from his chest and gazed up at him with tear-filled eyes.
"I can't stand to see either Rosalina or Darius like this. She needs him. I can see it."
Sighing softly, Gareth finally nodded as he wiped away her tears. "Be careful," he told her softly as he watched her walk over to Darius' side.

Drawing in a deep breath as Gareth turned Darius on his side, Calista laid one hand on Darius' neck wound and the other hand on his back and focused on sending her energy into him. Feeling strength leave her body, she screamed in agony as the man's pain started to assault her senses, her face turning pale with the effort.
"Rose..." Gareth whispered, his heart clenching in sorrow as he heard her cry of agony.

Calista continued to cry out, slumping forward slightly as waves of pain washed over her body and enveloped her senses.
"Calista!" Gareth shouted, unable to take seeing her pain any longer and moved to pull her away from Darius.
"No!" Calista told him with another strangled cry. "No..." she whispered as she continued to pour more of her energy into Darius and his wounds started to mend.
After five minutes passed, a soft groaned escaped from Darius' lips as his lashes began to flutter.

Hearing Darius start to stir, Gareth pulled Calista back from him and swept her up into his arms as she slumped against him. "He's waking love, you succeeded," he whispered to the woman gasping for breath in his arms. Nodding weakly, Calista just rested her head in the crook of Gareth's neck, her skin clammy and pale. "Rest, dearest," Gareth cooed to the woman as he held her close.

Groaning again, Darius' eyes finally fluttered open. "Ro...where's Rosalina...?" he whispered weakly as he caught sight of Gareth holding Calista in his arms.
