Down in the celler there was dust and a few barrels of ale. But that wasn't what he was looking for. At the back of the celler was a small door. He opened it, and walked in. The room was small and slighty damp, but hidden. This place was built for just that purpose. The owner of the tavern let had built this underground cavern to hide criminals, being a former one himself. Kith took out his flint and lit a lamp. It sputtered, then threw off a grimy light as it flickered to life.

Elendi looked around the place and smiled. "I like it..." She muttered.

Sarcasm? Kith shook his head. The sun was low in the sky. The owner should come down and check soon. Kith sat in plain site of the door.

Elendi sighed and looked around, then layed down comfortablely and sighed again.

Kith heard soft footsteps approaching. He glanced at the door as it opened. A large man came out, staring at Kith. "So its you again" He sighed. "And you've brought some friends"
"Just get us food, Jarn, and some drink. We won't be here long."
"As you wish" Jarn replied. He went back inside. They wen't exactly enemies, but niether were they friends.

"Well, that was quick. You know him well..." Elendi questioned.

"Know him well? In a way. Jail mates. We sprung eachother out." Kith replied. "He'll be back shortly with food, but don't expect much" Just then the door opened and Jarn appeared with thier meal. It was bread and some dried meat along with watered down wine. "here you go, bud" The man said as he placed the tattered plates on the ground. Dig in."

Elendi didn't know whether to thank him or to eat.

Braad glanced at the food a bit suspiciously, then picked up a chunk of bread and bit into it. Pulling it back, he spotted a weevil wedged, quite comfortably it appeared, in the bread. He grimaced and reached for a knife to dig it out with, then realized he hadn't had a chance to retrieve his weapons as the group had left the prison. He made a mental note to himself to look around for some other weapons when he had a chance.
"So, where do we go now?" he asked Kith.

We'll stay here for the night. The gaurds will probably make a sweep through here, but they won't stay. Its a bit too scary for them here." He took a bite of the bread and choked it down. After that we stay in port for a day or two, then lay low. After a few weeks or so, who knows what could happen"

Elendi took a small piece of bread and ate some, sighing. "That's about all we can do if we want to stay out from behind bars."

"All too true." Braad said. He ate a strip of the meat and washed it down, then laid down in a corner of the room to try and get some sleep.

Elendi knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, so she just made herself comfortable and laid there in the darkness.

(Bother? Not at all. Its just this cursed computer allowance that's keeping me from you! I'm trying to save up hours so I can post a lot. Its taking awhile....*grumbles* )
Kith watched as the other's fell asleep. His internal clock said that night had come. He layed down and tried to get some sleep himself.

Kith woke as Jarn shook him. "Time to go" THe man said. Kith nodded. Jarn returned to his tavern as Kith woke the others. "Time to go" He said. "It'll be safe by now." THough the windowless cell gave no proof, Kith figured it to be a little after dawn. He opened the door and walked out into the early sunlight.

Elendi stretched and took out her dagger as they left.
