Not about to be outdone, Rilion took hold of a nearby lampstand, and discarding the lamp, used it to vault neatly over the dragon's head, where he slid along its back and sprang up to deftly hew at the thrashing tail. He narrowly escaped being decapitated as the dragon whipped the aforemention appendage around, sending the elf rocketing around the room. He held tight, however.

An enormous, nasty, evil dragon had just popped into the room, roaring and scaring the orchestra to titters and engaging two handsome men in fearsome combat, in which their very lives may well be in danger of being fried to charred nothingness.

"Oh my," Lady Diana commented with a yawn. "The heat is stifling, isn't it." She sat down, poured herself a cup of tea, whipped up a delicate fan, and proceeded to watch the show. In all the fantastic excitement she was experiencing then, she nearly forgot her table manners. "Would you like some, Lady Rosa?" she asked, holding out a freshly microwaved bag of popcorn.

Diana accepted a chocolate with a gracious nod. She drew up a petite cup for Rosa. "Would you care for some Earl Grey, my lady?"

Bryne glanced at Alassea. "What do you think, my lady?" he asked. "Should I go assist those other brave men, or stay here and protect you?"

This made Alassea smile, but she looked around furtively for her siblings before replying. "You go," she told him with a grin - a slightly disturbing grin, as though she were planning something. "I can - take care of myself, as it were."

Jeral was getting a tinge frustrated; what with the heat and dragon and all, and he rather wanted to be under some cool eave kissing his girl.

"Bloody die already!!" he yelled, plunging his sword numerous time into the dragons head, which only enraged the thing more as if one had been poking an elephant repeatedly with a toothpick.

"Bloody scallawag, 'sn't he?" he commented to Rilion, taking a quick moment to wipe his brow on his [s]shirt sleeve[/s] bare arm.

"He jolly well is," said Rilion with dissatisfaction, hewing determinedly at one of the beast's batlike wings. "Wish the bally thing would hurry up and die, wot wot."

"Precisely!" cried he, so wrapped up in calling "precisely" with a flashy shake of his shaggy hair, that he lost his footing, and fell with a dreadful "SMACK!" upon the floor.

The dragon spun around, and started shooting hot balls of fire out of its gurgling throat, trying to fry Jeral, but each time, he rolled out of the way *just* before it hit him.

"Aaaiiiigh!" he said unintelligibly, rolling back and forth across the floor like a rolling pin.

Rilion blinked at Jeral's sudden removal, and this split second of surprise cost him his spot as well - only he landed unceremoniously in the remains of the charred piano, and his sword got lost somewhere in the air. Looking mildly bewildered, the elf sat quite still for a moment trying to bring up to date in his head what had really just happened. Dragons didn't do that to him. They just didn't.

Bryne drew his sword. "As you wish, my lady." He rushed into the fray, where the two men and Azura were having some difficulty with the dragon.

"Why thankyou Lady Dianah...i say you don't think the others would like some do you?" she picked up the pot and tapped Rilon on the shoulder. Neatly sidestepping the dragon. "You would't like some Earl Grey would you you're magisty?"

Rilion rolled hastily to the side to avoid a spurt of dragonfire. He got quickly to his feet, and said quite calmly, "Do save some for me, won't you? This bally thing needs getting rid of."

"That would be jolly good - what kind of crumpets?" inquired Rilion, and poked the dragon in the eye with his sword. It gave a deafening roar and reared up, half blinded. "Ouch, bit of a noise, there."

When the dragon reared up, Jeral took a quick roll out from the direction of it's firey nostrils, laughing as he did so.

"Someone mention tea? Sounds positively delightful! If we could just rid ourselves of this wee pest here, I'm sure we'd have a regular jolly good time of it, eh wot!"
