Obi-Wan leaned away from the strike to his neck by arching his back. Recovering with a totter of his legs, he shouted angrily back at Vader, "Then so be it! But I will not let two innocent women die by your hand!"
Looking to Reia, Kenobi knew that she was injured and hurt, but he feared for her safety. He knew what Vader was capable of. And he especially feared for the child within Eljaraj.

Pain wasn't a problem for Reia - at all. After all, she'd dealt with far worse in the past, especially in battles. Still, that didn't make it any more comfortable, or allow her to somehow regain use of her damaged muscles. Tucking her blaster into her belt, she went straight for her speeder.

Vader stopped attacking. His head slowly turned. "Ah, you fear for Eljaraj, Obi-Wan Kenobi...and..." Vader focused harder, "...ah hah...she is with child."

Obi-Wan watched Vader closely and kept his saber close within range of Vader's frame. "Leave them be and deal with me alone," Kenobi said menacingly. "Vader......did you hear what I said?!"

Reia started her speeder's engines, grateful that she and Eljaraj could now get away and call for help - after all, Vader had almost killed one of the biggest threats to the entire Empire: herself. She was, of course, an ace pilot and bred-and-raised military expert, but unbeknownst to the Empire, she was one of the key elements in a newly-forming rebellion: the Rebel Alliance.

Vader shook his head, "I have no time to deal with you..Old Man." With a strong wind, the darkside of the force wrapped itself around Darth Vader, and he shot out of the house into the blackness of the outside light.

Knowing that Vader would be close behind Reia and Eljaraj, he ran out of the house and back toward his space craft that was up and over the grassy hill.
After a few seconds, he was inside and already trying to contact Reia, "Reia this is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Do you copy?"
