(Uh, POTR...Sam passed the flask to Frodo before anyone else...and uh...Frodo didn't even have a chance to drink it. LOL!  It's ok. I'll just go along with it.)
Frodo shivered and reached to grasp the small flask from Sam, but as he did, Aragorn grabbed it first and then began to pass it down the line.
Frodo looked to Sam with a deranged eye and then peeked his head around Aragorn's legs to look down the long chain of humans. He wanted some warmth badly...but it seemed he would have to walk to get it....and how he hated walking at this point.
As Frodo traveled down the line, his eyes squinted in the soft bitter wind as he said, "Excuse me, but I would like a drink as well. It seems to have somehow passed me up."

Will looked hungrily at the flask that was passed to Elizabeth. He was now colder than ever...seeing that the wind had blown the blanket right off of him.

Just as Jack Sparrow reached for the flask, he found it gone. It had been passed down, purposely.
With a frowned lip and two eyes glaring at Hector's face the Captain blurted, "If that drink is anythin' like rum mate, I'll shoot ye!" One hand preached in the air while the other gripped the pistol tucked in his red and white sash.

Elizabeth hastily took the little flask, entirely understanding Barbossa's wish to have it circumvent Jack. Even she was reluctant to pass it on once the warm, rejuvenating liquid had forged a steaming trail down her throat, and recent memory of a night spent on a desert island told her irrevocably that Jack's self-control was nearly nonexistent. Having passed it down the ragged procession of shivering people Elizabeth clutched her makeshift cloak tighter about herself and hoped that there was more miruvor where that came from if they hoped to make it over the mountain.
Even Merry was subdued by the chilling air and the snow that drifted around them, making going difficult indeed for the hobbits, but he brightened upon noticing a flask of something coming down the line. "Gandalf brought some ale, Pip!" he opined (wrongly).

Will thanked Elizabeth and took the flask to his lips with haste. Taking about two swallows, Will could feel the wonderful sensation of warmth come over his entire body. Shutting his eyes, he enjoyed the moment with the flask still in hand.

((Mates, for those of you who haven't read this thread yet, Fencing Maiden will regrettably no longer be with us (click the link for more details). I haven't actually talked to her yet, but as she had named me her unofficial second-in-command, I'll be essentially running this RPG now. Really the only thing that needs to be resolved is the matter of her characters. Melda and I will take Sam and Gandalf (respectively), but if someone else could take on Boromir, that'd be great. I really don't want this RPG to die, so the faster we resolve this and get moving again, the better.))

(:-( Yes, I heard about FM's absence....sad thing. I would take on Boromir...but I don't know if I should since Frodo and him are interacting constantly.  What do you guys think?)
