Minara's face was about an inch from Devina's. "I'll threaten whoever I like, missie.... You're on my ship now, an' yer gonna play by my rules, see?...." She pulls Devina away from the door, knowing, with a certainty that betrays her experience with pirates, that the ones in the cabin will listen. "Speak softly and tell me your secret.... If it's treasure, I'll help ya get it as long as there's somethin' innit f'me.... If not, I'll do exactly as I please...." A cruel smirk glides across her features.

Dont think I'll tell ye just beacuse ye threaten me. Miss." Devina wrenched away from Minara once more, and raised eyebrow. Body tense of caution.

Chis got tired of it because he could get the information far more easier by saking Jack who would tell him what he wanted even if it required violence, but now Chris`s eyes were in another direction. He took the wine bottle on the table and took out his own, they wouldn`t surely mind and Chris prefered his own bottle. He poured the wine into his own bottle and placed the empty wine bottle on the table, he took some of the wine and sat in a chair in the cabin watching the door where Jack was listening.

Minara's eyes glitter eerily in the moonlight filtering down through the sails. Her voice contains a barely concealed snarl and she clenches her hands to keep from wrapping them about Devina's wretched throat. "Devina, first of all, I've had patience with you for a while now. This is my ship and you will obey my rules while on it.... That is the code, is it not?.... Second thing, yes you do have the 'secret' or whatever-it-is, but that doesn't mean I'm just like Jack and want to know about it desperately.... I can have you thrown off this ship in two shakes, mark me...." Minara stares Devina down, daring her to answer back, hoping she will so she'll have a good reason to kill her or do some such thing. One hand rests on her sword hilt and in her other hand is her long bullwhip.

Minara snarls, whirling around, her whip catching the door handle and yanking the door out of the way. Her sword is at Jack's throat before he can say s to t plus 'hi', her eyes flashing. "What in the heck d'you think you're doing?!?!?!?!....
Smashing down my door, is your ear really that heavy?!" She practically roars at him, her sword slicing into his throat.

Minara is fully prepared to run him through the throat then and there. "That door was just fine a day ago..." Here she mumbles something about her first mate and then stops, going back to her 'conversation' with Jack. "Look, Jack, here, you're not captain. So I suggest you behave..." Her smirk is cruel and her eyes flash wickedly, noting that a trickle of blood slides down the swordblade since he is not in skeleton form. "There are worse things than being a skeleton Jack.... Just make sure you don't find out what they are...." Minara laughs, and for a moment, it appears that her canine teeth are longer and just a tad bit sharper. But the look vanishes, seeming only a trick of the light from the open cabin door.
Minara withdraws her blade and shoves Jack backwards, causing him to fall flat on his rear. With derision she steps over him and back into the cabin, which is now doorless. Her voice drips contempt. "Oh, by the way, you'll be getting me a new door...."

((still lurking on this one, and not involved, but I thought I'd point out that bleeding is one of the inconsistencies in the movie; Barbossa does not bleed until after Will lifts the curse, but it's clearly stated that the curse can only be lifted by blood, which would require the cursed pirates to be able to bleed. So I think it's really just a matter of preference ))

(('tis, but oh well. brilliant movie regardless. i know in my second fanfic (which does involve cursed pirates), they do bleed, but only from serious wounds such as being pierced. but like i said, matter of preference. *sits back to resume lurking*))
