Decian finished treating the girl's wound with the antiseptic balm. He then went to check up on his other patients and found that Raeven had woken up. "Feeling all right?" asked Decian, concerned. He found the cup that contained antidote for Raeven's poison and said to her, "This will taste bad but you need it if you want to survive. You have been poisoned by one of the goblins by a combination of deadly nightshade and wolf's bane. This will stop the poison and hopefully try to reconstruct from the damage the poison had inflicted."

Half of the words didn't even register in Raevyn's mind, but she did understand nightshade and wolf's bane. I'm going to die.. the thought then registered, then she heard 'antidote'. Without hesitation, she took the cup and downed the contents within just a moment's time, then belatedly grimaced at the foul taste.

((Hmmm.. not yet. I am waiting too, so I'll get to it! ))
Vennir watched anxiously, letting his eyes focus on the dimming horizon. His thougts wandered across the wounded, hoping that they would last the night, and that Mirrim and the others would find a solution. He then realized that he himself was in danger, the assasin was still after him... He sighed heavily, decieding he probably wouldn't get any sleep, and wrapped his blanket around his shoulders as he headed into his tent, after the setting sun.

Mirrim was up rather late, still tending to the wounded. She eventually fell asleep, head pillowed on her arms, at Meleth's bedside. The elf had not woken, though her fever was down and she was sleeping more peacefully.

"My lord," a Death Bringer whispered. Decian whirled around towards to face him and asked, "Yes?"
"The Life Bringers are here but would it be better if we rest now and begin again tomorrow?"
"Yes, of course, set up our tents. I'll join you within the minute."
"Yes, my lord."
The Death Bringer hastened to do his task while Decian checked up on his patients for the night. They seemed to sleeping rather well. He went towards the site where the Death Bringers were setting up camp. "Well, one thing for sure," a Death Bringer said as he began setting up. "We got the rebels' trust."

(this will be my last post for a lil while..)
Vincent stared into the flickering fire that he had produced in his cave.. Soon it would be time.. Soon it would be dark.. He walked over to the opening of the cave and stared at the setting sun.. It was colored red.. The sky was right, some blood would definatley(sp?) be spilt that very night..

Thane pulled a cloak over Mirrim's shoulders. He would have moved her to a cot, but they were filled. "Sleep well" He said softly, then exited the tent. It was dark out, but the moon and her stars shed enough light so he could see. He knew that after this battle he should be tired, but every nerve in him was jittering. He climed to the top of a tree, breathing in the cold night air and gazing at the stars.
Kith prowled around the field. SOmthing was not right. He was in wolf shape, sniffing the perimiter. Somthing was there, somthing he couldn't pinpoint.

((Sure, let's start up again..moving on to morning))
Mirrim awoke when the thin blanket shifted under her head, and looked up to see Meleth staring at her in bewilderment. "Mirrim?" she inquired, gazing about. "Why are you sleeping there? It doesn't look very comfortable."
Mirrim sat back, rubbing her eyes. She hadn't gotten much sleep. "Oh...no reason," she said, smiling. "Most of the tents are full."
"I see," replied the elf, and suddenly winced as she tried to sit up further. "Ahhh...have I been sliced in half? That's how it feels!"

Vennir awoke slowly, pressing his palms to his eyes, willing for the sleep to leave them. Then he froze as he remembered that he was a hunted man... or, elf, rather. He jogged back to camp after warily looking around him, spotting Mirrim, talking to Meleth, he walked over, hair still tossled from sleep.
"Ah. your awake... How are you feeling?" He said all of this with a heavy night voice as he peered at them through half closed eyes. With the hair, eyes, and voice, he appeared quite rediculous(sp). Not to mention the fact that he could barley walk in a striaght line...

Vincent soared out of the opening of his cave and headed for the rebel camp... He would try to make this quick, he hoped that none of the elf's friends would intervene..
He landed on a tree not far from the elf who was just awakening. The assasin's hand immediatly went to one of the many swords strapped to his back. He loosened the broad sword a little bit from it's sheath, and the metal glistened approvingly..

Meleth leaned back, closing her eyes briefly. "Oh..." she breathed, clenching her teeth. "Thank you for inquiring," she said to Vennir, opening her eyes and giving a tense smile. "I'm afraid I can't give you a very positive answer."
Mirrim felt her friend's forehead for a fever and told her, "I'll be back - stay still, alright?" then she hurried off, looking worried.
Meleth nodded belatedly and tried to regulate her shallow breathing. She squinted up at something behind Vennir. It looked like there was something in a tree...oh dear, now she was seeing things. She tore her gaze away and looked back at the elf.

"Gods above-!"
The source of that shout was the shapeshifter Tajien, who had just woken up to find the skin between his shoulder blades, where he had been shot just the day before, itching furiously. "Bloody - goblins!"
"Could you possibly be any louder?" asked a relatively-quiet voice from the bed next to his, as Raevyn opened her eyes wearily.
"Yes, I could." came the sardonic retort, as the shifter tugged at the bandages encircling his torso. Try as he could, he couldn't untie them, much to his extreme vexation.

"Idiot," said Meleth, glancing over. "It's thanks to Merrin you're not lying dead in a battlefield with those same goblins, and she'll have your hide if you take those off."
"What? I'll have whose head?" came Merrin's voice as she came around the corner with an armful of fresh bandages. "Tajien, leave those alone."
