Drake understood the sign and opened the door, and ran out into the rain. Will, glanced back at his house and realizing that he was going back to his life as a pirate, grinned and sighed at the same time, before following Drake to the inn.

Jupiter let out a small sigh then turned her attention back to the ship. It was a slow day. They had not had much trouble, which was good, but now the minutes seemed to go by slowly. Jupiter found herself missing the action of battle.

Lotty was worried by the look on Claudia's face. It was obvious something was wrong and she could hardly wait til they were high enough and Claudia would finally speak. When she did Lotty was shocked. "you? but... why?" she gave her friend a concerned look, "why would you let her out and run that risk?" out of the corner of her eye she caught movement. It was Alex. Lotty was instantly hushed and wide-eyed.

Elizabeth nodded at Will and followed the two out into the rain. She had noted Will's glance and instantly knew what went through his mind. She was feeling the same way. The thrill of going back to what their old lives had been, but also the pain. It felt strange to go back to the pirates and that part of their past. She had thought that chapter in her life had ended years ago even if her heart always kept a part of it with her. If it was any other occasion she might actually have to admit she was excited about finally getting out and doing this. Like she had been so long ago when she was only a little girl and the concept of pirates was thrilling and romantasized. All this raced through her mind while she followed Will and Drake through the downpours to the inn.

After Alex passed, Lotty strained her ears to hear the rest of what Claudia had to say. "oh." was the only thing she could say in response to the explanation. "I guess it makes sense. But that's nothin' to worry about," she tried reassuringly, "only you 'n me will ever know... right?" she stopped to look around and hoped that Alex hadn't heard anything.
