"Katherine, just be quiet! I don't want to discuss this with you, because I'M always wrong!" he said sarcastically, before plunging another potatoe into his mouth and chewed it violently.

Edward's eyes followed the little girl's small frame infront of him.
He lifted his hands up to his chest and lowered his neck calmly.
He didn't look the same, somehow, something was different in the poor boy's face. Like an old soda that has lost its fizz, or tulip that has withered in the cold.

As Lucy looked back, Edward was shuffling slowly out of the gate.
Running up to him, she said, "Come on...let's get out of here together!" She pulled hard in his arm and down the long street filled with colorful houses. "We need to run away together! No one understands us!" Her eyes continued to tear up.

"timothy this is NOT about you being wrong or me being right, this is about your daughter's happiness, and this is not the easiest time for thisfamily...." she stood and walked to the kitchen silently....there she grabbed a glass of water and drank it really fast...she sat down and looked out the window.... this was a time when all she needed is her mother to help her....to tell her it would be alright.... another tear she willed not to come out squeezed our of her eye and ran silently down her cheek

Timothy didn't respond, he hated whenever that woman would start crying, it frustrated him and he never liked dealing with it. He lifted the cup of juice to his lips and took a few loud gulps.

Edward was yanked forward strongly. His fragile frame lunged forward, and he his feet trudged along the sidewalk. His head was heavy, and his sad eyes stared down at the ground.

Lucy held on tightly to Edward as she trudged down the sidewalk.....getting farther and farther away from her home.
"Edward? Do you want to see grandma Kim?" she asked as she looked upward at him with her big brown eyes that were filled with tears.

Edward immediately looked up, and he carefully swallowed a huge gulp of saliva.
With a twist of agony in his gut, a tender nod was all he gave back to the little flower at his side.

She wiped away a tear and didn't say a word to Edward. All she did was pull him along the twisted streets.
About thirty minutes had passed and miles away from Suburbia, they had arrived at the deserted graveyard. No one from Suburbia would ever visit it.....they seemed to imagine that it didn't exist.....almost as if death scared them.
Lucy's eyes looked up slowly as they approached the entrance. It was now dark and cold mist sat upon the green grass. "Well, we're here...." she said with a frightened voice.
She huddled against Edward for safety and then pointed to her left. "Grandma Kim should be over there somewhere."

The cold, withering mechanical man left little Lucy's side.
He headed in the direction of where Lucy said, "Over there." would be. His black boots, squished the wet misty grass, as he stiffly made his way deeper into the cemetery.
Each step frightned him more and more, and the chilled wind shot through his spine, making him shiver from head to toe.

Lucy quickly ran to Edward's side frightened. Holding on tightly to his leathery arm, she said, "It's kind of scary here at night.....but I feel better with you."
As the cold air continued to blow in her face and hair, she sniffed her runny nose a couple times. Peering in the darkness, she saw the small headstone with an angle carved into it. "There!" Lucy said happily.

The black little eyes upon the face of Edward Scissorhands, searched the gravestones, until he too, saw the grey stone angel carved onto the tombstone.
He knew it was Kim's. Kim was his angel, and would always be his angel.
A silver metal scissor coressed the smooth face of the cherub.

Lucy stared at the gravestone for some time before she spoke. The cold night wind blew harder against their faces. She sighed as a tear slipped down her cheek. In a faint whisper, she said, "I miss you grandma. I wish you were still here."
Her lips quivered for a second and then she looked up at Edward. The bright moonlight lit her face as she said, "You can talk to her Edward. It's nice to say something. Say something to her."
