The tornado sides swirled faster and faster, closer and closer to her spinning body, and she felt a growing fear. Before the wind dropped and she fell to the ground. Her eyes clouded over and her head fell to the floor.

A few minits later she shook her head and pulled herself to her feet, staggering over to Jackie. She stood over her, her breathing laboured "By rights you deserve to die, first for helping humans and then for almost killing me. I never forget a wrong, but let it never be said I forget a right; i won't kill you."
Slowly, ever so slowly she managed to levitate her into the group of corpses, arrangeing her so it looked like Jackie was the killer. Then her eyes half closed she pulled herself into the train station and collapsed aginst along a bench.

A strong hand closed around the shoulder of Marianne and a man knelt beside her, he has a wide smirk on his face as he eyed her, but didn`t say a word. His other shoulder had a somewhat careless bandage wrapped around it, he made no move to attack, but simply stared at her for a brief while as it was obvious that she wouldn`t have much strength left.

"Come with me fellow mutant, that what you did was daring yet admirable. Just what I have been looking for"

He commanded more than proposed.

Takeshi made sure both mutants were safely in the car and started the engine and soon enough they were driving towards the mansion.
After a few minutes, the institute could be seen clearly from the distance and Takeshi gestured his head towards it, "That's HYENA," and kept his eyes on the road.

Estelle studied the mansion in awe, it was certainly a lot nicer than the conditions she was to used to living in. "The mutant I ran into earlier was a man, in his twenties. He has the ability to drain the life out of his victims and is immune to physical attacks, but seemed vulnerable against magical strikes. Who he is I do not know, nor do I know if he has any other mutant abilities." she finally replied to Takeshi's question.

What woke Jackie from her drained stupor was neither the noise of the crowd, of which there was much, nor the vicious comments directed her way. It was the wail of police sirens. By the time she had consciousness enough to lift her head, they were all over the place, erecting barricades, inspecting the dead and wounded - and three with drawn sidearms, pointed in a businesslike manner at her head. "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" she managed, still extremely disoriented. "Qui..." The dead were around her. And she was square in the middle of them, arms outstretched as if she had exacted a terrible vengeance on the human population ...

"Mais non, non, pas moi, une fille, la danseuse, pas moi -" she started to scramble to her feet, but one of the policemen jerked his gun meaningfully. "Merde!" She'd been framed! And she was speaking French, on top of that. Swallowing a breath, she leveled her gaze at the men. "It's not me, I didn't do this. I tried to prevent her from killing these people - I've been set up, you have to believe me!"

Somehow, the look in their eyes was anything but belief.

Catrin looked to Estelle, her head still bowed and wondered if all mutants had the same story but a different variation. She thought it was likely because what it all seemed to come down to was that mutants weren't wanted. They didn't fit in with the homo-sapians comfortable way of life, and even some mutants seemed to want to corrupt all other mutants and get them to aid the combat against the homo-sapian race. Why people couldn't just live together, Catrin didn't know. But then her knowledge of other mutants was very very limited and she didn't fully understand the way of the world, purey because she'd rarely been fully exposed to it. She hoped that in HYENA, she could learn fully what the world was all about and why there were as many conflicts as there were.

Takeshi had now reached HYENA's destination and parked it amongst the Raye's expensive collection of vehicles.

"We're here," Takeshi calmly pointed out and climbed out of the car and opened the boot for Estelle, "I'd show you around but... I'm busy tonight. However - I'm sure some of the staff will take my place to help you out. We can supply you with all the essentials along with dormentries and timetables for your lessons, you can choose your extra curriculum activities yourselves. Though you can request for no education if you wish, though you may have to give the training rooms a few visits now and then."

Darius explained with a quirk smile and offered his hand to help her stand up.

"They are looking for you as well as me, we need to hide and plan on what to do next unless you wish to aimlessly, alone wander around killing humans until you yourself are killed?"

HYENA? Who? Maybe he ment Jackie, yes that made sense if he was saying HYENA helped humans. "I will join you" she accepted his hand and stood up with a smile of her own. "I do not wish to be killed just yet"

Catrin got out of the car and stretched her wings right out, unfurling them and then curling them around her slightly. "Can we choose our subjects?" She asked, after eyeing the building for a while. It looked like luxury after what she'd been living in, but the thought of lots of compulsory education didn't sound overly appealing. She wanted to learn some things, but other things she'd happily live without.

"Excellent, my name is Darius and now... let`s scram, the police will be all over the site soon enough. I am already wanted for a kill like yourself so it is obvious we need a place to lay low, lucky enough the sewers or abandoned warehouses come in handy."

He said as he gazed around and turned on his heels to lead her out of the vicinity of the area. He lead her into the alleyways of London where anyone rarely dared try to stop them unless it were muggers yet they didn`t appear this time. Darius finally stopped by a back door of building, he opened door with the key constantly clicking in the lock and pushed it open. He stepped in and put on the lights, the space was an abandoned bar or at least it seemed to have a fresh supply of everything. There was a stinging smell of paint in the air as the bar space had been just fixed yet apparently not by Darius as he had simply taken it over. Darius threw his jacket onto a bench and circled around the bar table before grabbing a glass for himself.

He opened a bottle of whiskey with shaking hands and poured himself a drink before gesturing the bottle at Marianne.

She followed him warily. For all she knew this could be a trap, but it didn't feel like one. She entered behind him and put her coat down on a table, then turned to see him pouring himself a drink "Are you okay?" No-one shook like that normally.

Takeshi nodded slightly, "Though if you going to start the education, there is a limit to how many primary subjects you miss out. You can choose as many extra curriculum and mutant-related classes as you want though, no minimum or maximum."

He lead the two to the mansion's front door - marble beams supporting the exterior porch before the entrance. Takeshi ascended up the few steps and stretched his arms as he opened the two doors as wide as he could - until the hinges were pressed to its furthest.

"By the way...", Takeshi asked out of the blue, "Do either of you have 'codenames'? Mine's Dreamcatcher. I believe I haven't informed you what I was capable of - or asked you to tell me about the full length of both of your abilities. Gifts."

Takeshi guided them into the first lounge - several sofas and armchairs were scattered around the decorated room along with bookcases, tables and a television. Yumeko was curled up in one armchair and was silently reading a thick book she must of discovered from one of the shelves, she was ignorant of Takeshi's, Catrin's and Estelle's prescense.

"Yumeko!", Takeshi called out to her.
"What?", Yumeko mumbled absentmindedly, obviously concentrating on reading this book.
"We've got some new arrivals."
Yumeko diverted her eyes from the book and placed her attention on Catrin and Estelle, "Hi - please to meet you," she quietly greeted.
"This is one of the students accomodating this mansion, Yumeko. Or Pierrot - her codename," Takeshi carried on and blinked as Yumeko unexpectedly sneered at the use of her codename.
"I wasn't allowed to choose my own codename," Yumeko sighed, "Takeshi said my ideas were too creative... and irrelevent. Can't see how Pierrot has anything to do with what I can do."
Yumeko folded the page she was on and closed the book, dust floating away from the creases. She rised from her seat and was about to flip a crude hand gesture at Takeshi but he interuppted her, "And you know our agreement? Well I'll take you out tonight - I'll give you details later on."

Yumeko gave him a piercing glance and then pushed past him muttering, "Excuse me," as she made her way out of the room and upstairs.
"Ignore Yumeko," Takeshi told the two, "She's devolping an unsocial, vulgar attitude."
