"I know you are out there somewhere...", she muttered, thinking about her father.

Ashleygh winced softly as she lay down in bed. She looked toward Rogue. "Maybe I shouldn't have worked so hard..." SHe looked startled when her cell phone rang, and she reached to it. "Ashleygh here."

"Ash, it's me." Pyro's voice came up.

"How do I know this is really you? You could be Mystique for all I know.." she said.

Pyro sighed. "Please, Ash..I just want to talk."

"Allright. Give me a second." She put him on hold before looking at Rogue. She walked out of the room, and headed to the roof.

-Elsewhere-

Tania slowed down as she noticed Logan's Harley parked. She disembarked and began to walk over to it.

"Followin' me now?" Logans voice came out of the shadows of the alleyway where his hog was parked.

"I was concerned. You just ran off without a word"

"I didn't run" Logan chided her

"Okay...stormed off and get on your bike and rode. Stop being so pedantic" Tania retorted

Logan slouched against a wall.
"I'm sorry darlin' everything just got to me in there."

Tanias gaze softened. It wasn't often she seen her friend so vulnerable like this.
"Logan...do you know who she is?"

He turned his face to look at her and sighed.
"I honestly don't darlin'. Something unnerves me about her. I can't place it."

Tania looked deeply at Logan, her empathic abilities kicking in.
"You're not lying. Not that you would, but you genuinely don't know her"

"I really don't want to deal with this right now. You mind changin' the subject?" Logan replied, quietly.

Tania smiled knowingly.
"Beer?"

"Sure you're not a mind reader, darlin'?" Logan teased

The pair walked towards a gaudy neon sign.

"Fat Alberts?" Tania curled her lip, sneering.

Logan looked at her and grinned.
"If the beer is cold and the company good. It'll do"

Logan suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. His posture stiffening. He shook his head and continued walking.
"Can't be him.....he's long gone" Logan thought to himself.

"You comin' or what?" Tania shouted over

They both walked into the dingy looking place and headed for the bar.

"Two of yer finest" Tania ordered

Ashleygh pushed past Eevee and headed up to the roof, not saying a word.

-Back at Fat Alberts bar-

Tania and Logan had made there way to a small secluded booth after ordering there drinks. They sat in silence as they drank. Tania broke the quiet.

"So...come here often?" she smiled then burst into laughter.

Logan raised an eyebrow and shook his head.

"Aw come on..I had to do something to lighten the mood"

Logan lowered his head.
"I'm sorry I ain't much company right now."

Tania smirked and kicked him lightly under the table.
"When are you ever much company?"

"Yer a real smart @ss huh?" Logan smiled back at his friend.

Tania knocked back the last of her beer and just smiled back.
"Oh you know it."

The light mood was suddenly ended when the door to the bar smashed open. Tania and Logan immediately went on the defensive posture. Tania noticed Logan had unsheathed his claws, she whispered in his ear.

"Put those away....for now."

Logan did as she asked, realising they were in a very public bar. He began to crouch as he sniffed the air around him. He looked around to where the door once stood, amidst the rubble he seen a very familiar face.

"Sabretooth" Logan growled low and guttural.

-Liz room-

Liz couldn't get the feeling of being watched away, she got up from the chair and walked to the window.
She spotted some students playing basket, she wanted to go over to them but she knew what would happend if she did...Same thing that always happend.

"Maybe I'm going insane after all Mazon." she said and Mazon looked at her.

She sat down on the floor with her back against the wall, Mazon went to her right away and sat down next to her.

She looked into his eyes and stroke his back.

"What would I do without you?" she said calm voice and Mazon licked her hand.

"Are you hungry baby?"she said and got up from the floor.

They walked out of the room and towards the kitchen but when they were close she stopped.

"Liz is really lame." someone of the students said.
"Yeah I know. People that calls us a freak haven't seen her."said someone else and they laughed.

Liz looked down on the floor and felted how tears burned in her eyes, she ran away from there and out on the frontside...
