Bootstrap smiled evily and said, "Aye Jack...shiney!" His stomach then growled very loudly and he placed a hand on it. "But after we find the shiney thing....can we find something tasty?"

Jack gestured a hand to Bootstrap as to shut him up. "Aye, then we get somethin' to eat. But for now.." His eyes slowly glided back to his compass, "We prepare for land." He shouted out, "Mr. Gibbs! Prepare to lower anchor!"

Bootstrap ran carefully, as not to slip, toward the anchor. He lowered it and then shouted back loudly, "ANCHOR LOWERED CAPTAIN!" He then squinted his eyes back toward the island in the foggy distance.

Jack smirked at Gibbs and Bootstrap, giving the two gentlemen an acknowledging nod. "Prepare the crew to lower the side ladder, we're goin' on a lil' side trip." He slammed his compass shut.

Once the ship was anchored and secure, the whole crew was brought along the sandy shore. The buzzing of bugs could be heard in the foliage and the crashing of waves from the ocean behind them.
Bootstrap looked around and then said, "So....where do we began captain?"

(Oops, I was kinda gone...but I'm back!) Right...
Katherine was at the back of the line. She had been quiet ever since that night with the fish. She gazed around at the island in wonder, loving the feel of the sand under her feet and the breeze...everything. She was just a nature fan. She realized she had fallen behind and she jogged to catch up with the group.

Jack's sand crusted boots trudged forward, deeper into the shade of the numerous palm trees and vines.
He snapped open his compass and suddenly, spun around towards the right, and continued in that direction.

The funny feeling about this island never ceased, even after Gibbs found himself on solid land. He trudged along behind Jack, glancing suspiciously in all directions.
Then he heard the drums.
It started suddenly, like no drums he'd ever heard before. The strong, exotic beat resonated across the island. "Not good..." he breathed.

Bootstrap ran after Jack and followed close behind him. With his head tilted upward, he continued to stare at the tall green mountains and all the exotic waterfalls.
When the drums began he stopped dead in his tracks, "STOP! Stop! Do you hear that?" He then smiled with mischeif and began to run in the direction it came from.

In a swift motion the dial on Jack's compass started spinning in a wild mannor.
Jack's eyebrows frowned and he took a step forward, a step back, a step to the side, and to the other. "This isn't makin' sense..."
