Tynel looked on, enthralled by the horrific and incredible sight before him. Only a few minutes after the huge monster left, did he notice that Dalen had asked him a question.

"I-I don't know. Unless these things are normal here." Tynel's eyes became worried, and his brow creased slightly. "Which I hope they're not." He then continued to stare as the cloud of blood slowly decreased and passed under the ship. He then shook his head and whistled quietly, his eyebrows raised.

"I think that most likely, we'll be liars. And in that case, I wouldn't say anything. It hurts our chances of them trusting us. Which they should anyway..." Tynel's voice slowly faded out as he started to talk about how they should trust their own people.

Completely oblivious as to what had just transpired in the waters beneath the ship, Raven paced back and forth along a small stretch of the deck, boots making soft thumps every time she took a step.

Not much longer until you're home again..even though it'll never be your true home again.

Tynel continued to think as his voice faded out until he was silent. He then turned around as he started to notice some sort of thumping on the deck. He turned around and spotted Raven, who was pacing. Tynel sighed. She had an apparent knack for being depressed. He shook his head and then went to look over the edge where the hug sea monster had been a few minutes before.

Quit pacing, you can't be nervous now..not with what's waiting.

Irritably, Raven stopped in her tracks and sighed quietly, then straightened her coat and went over to the railing. Restlessness began to take over her again right away, and she began tapping her fingers on the railing.

So much for remaining calm..

Tynel was looking at the horizon, and then noticed that Raven had stopped pacing. But then she started drumming on the railing. He closed his eyes and swung his head to the left, where he could see Raven leaning against the railing. He slowly walked over to where she was and put his hand down on her's so that she could not drum her fingers anymore. He lifted his left eyebrow.

Startled, Raven jumped and irritably opened her mouth to say something, but the words died on her lips as she realized who it was. But rather than say anything, she merely looked at Tynel silently, expression pretty much neutral.

He stared at her for a moment, but when she didn't answer decided to speak.

"Why are you doing that?" He wore a fake smile on his mouth, trying to hide his annoyance with her drumming.

"Because of something called boredom mixed with something called restlessness." she replied simply, turning her head slightly and moving her gaze onto the railing. In reality, it was actually just one of her nervous habits coming out, much to her extreme annoyance. She just could not keep a tight rein on her emotions and feelings anymore, like she had done when she was younger..

Tynel nodded, understanding. If he could not get rid of his quirks, there was no reason he should get on to her about her's.

"Oh. I'm sorry." He smiled jokingly, "I thought you were trying to annoy me."

Adopting a look of innocence with a smile to match, she asked sweetly, "Now, why would I do that?" Inwardly, she felt like she was about to burst, having to restrain laughter like she was doing just then.

Tynel looked at her with a creased brow and a frown, but his eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Well I don't know, you'd ought to ask yourself that question if you are expecting an answer, for I am not a mind reader."

He looked at her innocent face and tried in vain to stop a small smile from forming on his lips, but then lost the battle all together and burst out laughing.

As soon as he began laughing, Raven lost what little composure she had and started laughing as well.

Oh, I've done it now..

Thyiri propped her elbows on the railing and wondered what they were doing now, and what in the seven seas there was to laugh about. She cast an annoyed glance over her shoulder, seeing nothing funny and inwardly resenting the fact that they did.

Once Tynel recovered from his laughing, he leant up against the railing, a smile still resting on his face. As he looked over the horizon, he suddenly frowned and looked over his shoulder, feeling as if he was being watched. Spotting all of the other crew, he looked each one over, Dalen was at the wheel, as usual, Thyiri was leaning agaist the railing, and looked particulary bored, But Zenith was no where to be seen. He turned back to the horizon, and searched the orange and yellow colored sunset again and again, until he decided that he would find nothing of interest, and he layed his head down on the railing and closed his eyes, listening to the now-farmiliar sound of the ocean waves crashing against the boat. But then the waves seemed to have an odd rythm compared to their normal swaying. Tynel briefly thought that it was due to a large shark, but then he reasoned that the hinderence would have to be atop the water. He looked up and his eyes widened.

"Uh, Dalen!" He then turned to Raven, "We've got company."

Lifting her head sharply, Raven looked to Tynel, brow furrowing. "Oh, blast it.." she muttered, several different possibiliities whirling through her mind almost simultaneously. "Not good!"
