"Because I'm just going to put my sandals on and go skipping off down the mountain," Kena snapped, not at all amused. "Does anyone else see a flaw in that plan?"

Her fingers slipped on the rock and Kena lurched forward, desperately straining to retain an upright position. Fragments of stone broke under her feet. Goddess or no, in her mortal form Kena was not capable of bearing Devarion's weight for very long. In another instant her fingers lost their grip and both deities half-skidded, half-fell down the near-vertical mountainside. The barest of ledges, little more than a sharp outcropping, halted their fall, and Kena clawed herself upright. She felt vaguely as though she'd been kicked about by several booted feet, and could envision a nasty set of bruises making an imminent appearance.

When her vision stopped cartwheeling the goddess gulped a lungful of air, winded, and gasped, "Anything broken?"

Kena swiveled slowly, taking in with a sinking heart the forbidding pinnacles of rock, shrouded in mist, that now seemed to continue off in every direction. She turned to look up the way they had come, calling tentatively, "Estelle?"

If a sound could be described as pale, her voice was - it echoed emptily among the rocks and faded off uncertainly. Kena shivered involuntarily, only somewhat from the cold. "That was you," she said, turning to look at him soberly. "How could it have been? That's not possible..." she trailed off. It was possible, but what twist of fate would have put a double of Devarion in their midst?

Kena did not need to search far to know the answer.

Estelle tentatively made her way down to the others. She had caught a glimpse of their quarry, forcing had to keep herself from gasping from shock. From her position, it looked like Devarion-but that was just impossible, wasn't it? I should just teleport myself to them. she thought with annoyance, speaking of her traveling method when she was in great haste or needed a means of quick escape. As she finally made her way to the pair, she looked over at Kena and Devarion. "Are you both alright?" she asked. "What is your plan now?" she asked after a brief moment.

"To attempt to avoid, in the future, making an unplanned foray down a mountainside," said Kena wryly, peering into the mist-shrouded rocks below. She glanced once more up the steep incline they'd fallen down and wondered, not the first time, how they'd avoided decapitation. "However, it looks as though a planned one may, unfortunately, be in order."

With that she stepped tentatively down, searching for a foothold. Shale broke under her foot and Kena recoiled slightly, wary of going further. "Right, follow me," she told the other two tersely. "And try not to grab onto anything I don't."

(is short, ues :) )

Azra ignored her question. He Azra, one of the most powerful gods, Death, falling in love with a mere Goddess! He shook his head, he didn't need a woman, the only other person he needed was Mira; and that was just to organise his papers. What was he saying? he wasn't in love with Aranthor.

I don't need him!!!! I am not a useless human, or just any goddess. He is just another God, who fit's with the others beneath me. Aranthor thought.

"Haven't the slightest clue," said Kena, her words short and clipped. She carefully navigated around a sharp outcropping, for a moment suspended only by her arms and toeholds in the rock, and dropped onto a small ledge. She crouched, breath coming in short gasps now, and warily surveyed the stony valley beneath - and at the bottom, just visible through the mist, but deceptively near, a silvery ribbon of river.

Upon venturing to descend further Kena carefully edged herself down, swallowing as distant pebbles clattered the canyon below, and failed to quite test her next foothold properly.

Stone crumbled beneath her bare foot and, caught off-guard, Kena clung desperately to the ledge with only her fingertips for an infinitesimal moment of breathless fear - before dropping out of sight. Wind, laced with mist, rushed past her for the length of a brief fall and she landed painfully on rough gravel by the edge of the river.

Completely winded, Kena had to heave for breath before any would come and when it did she found herself trembling, though relatively unhurt.

Estelle tentatively made her way down the mountain edge. Yes. Definitely not one of my brilliant ideas. she thought in annoyance as a few pebbles crumbled beneath her foot. Clinging tightly to the crevices with her fingers as she searched for the next foothold, she glanced down briefly and the saw the band of river beneath her. Suddenly, the noise of rock crumbling below her drew her attention as Kena slipped from the ledge she was perched on earlier. "Kena!" she called down to the goddess as she struggled to regain her own footing. "Are you alright?"

(oh i love this, we are sooooo similer)

It was getting cold. Azra went into another room and returned with steaming goblets, setting them down on the table and refusing to look at her.

(( I've never had this much fun in an rp))

Aranthor didn't even look at him. She just continued looking elsewhere.

((What are we going to do since Artemis doesn't seem to be here?))

(( OK))

Aranthor whirled around, she opened her mouth to say something. Something that wouldn't be very nice, but she stopped her self and closed her mouth. "And I am sorry also." she said with a amused look on her face. "I guess we both have our things to work on." she said, said seriously. She was still confused with her thoughts, but at lwast she knew she could speak without asking him if he liked her.

He saw the look on her face and couldn't help smileing in return. He held out his hand; "Truce then?"

"Truce." she said with a smile shaking his hand,"I guess we should go find Devarion and the rest." she said with a sad look on her face. I really wish I could spend more time with him and not always have to do something.
