Los Angeles: APO
"All right, we've been watching the tracker since you placed it on their convoy. Currently, it's still in route. We'll have to wait until we find out where they're going, then we'll make our move." Jack paused.
"We've also found out that what they stole is something like a 'key' to another part of the Rambaldi machine." Jack said. Kali left the debriefing room when Jack had finished talking, and pulled out her cell phone as she walked to an empty office in APO.
"It seems APO's more industrious than we had assumed." Kali said once the other line picked up.
"Really? How so?" Sark asked.
"They've discovered that the SG's stolen the key to another part of the Rambaldi machine. I'll call you back with all the details once we find out where the SG's going." She said, before she hung up. She walked out of the office and went to Marshall.
"Have they stopped yet?" She asked.
"No. Not yet." He said. He then held up a package of candy.
"Want some?" He asked.
"No thanks, Marshall." She said, with a smile.

Mia was working at her computer when she started to think about Austin and when he went to the travel agency. She tried to shake the thought off, but it kept coming back. Was he trying to figure it out? After the thought accured to her, she decided to be more careful about what she said to Austin. If he found out, he would have big problems. His whole life would turn upside down. And he thought she was just a regular person with a regular job that took an extreme amount of business trips. What would he think of her if he found out?

The smile that lit her fair face greeted this mortal man. The divinity she once grasped soon left to take his hand.

Kali was about to walk away from Marshall before he said something, rather loudly.
"What?" Kali asked.
"They stopped!" Marshall said. Kali looked at the screen that showed the route they were going before looking back to Marshall.
"They stopped at an airport?" She said.
"Yes. We have to find out where they're going now. It's a commercial flight so this shouldn't be too difficult." Marshall said, opening another window. Kali watched him hack into the airports systems to find the SG agents plane. The SG agent Larau Beaument appeared and Marshall found the plane he was going on.
"They're going to Parma, Italy." Marshall said.
"The birth place of Milo Rambaldi." Kali said as Marshall stood up and immediately went off to find Jack. When Marshall had left Kali pulled out her cell phone and called Sark.
"They're taking the key to Parma, Italy." She said. She listened to what Sark had to say before saying, "See you there, love." She hung up and walked into the debriefing room because Jack was about to debrief all the other agents.

Sydney walked into the debriefing room waiting for her father to start the debriefing. She was still a little tired from waking so early but she would survive.

"We’ve found where the SG is going with the key. They're taking it to Parma, Italy. Parma was the birthplace of Rambaldi, so it's not unusual that there might be a part to the machine there." Jack paused pressing a button on the remote and a church appeared on the screen.
"We believe this is where the next part is to the Rambali machine. We need to go to Parma, and try to get the part to the machine before the SG does. We also must assume that The Mercenaries already know about this other part, and will be there too. Which means, we'll have to fight off two terrorist organizations. But it is vital that we get this part before either of the other side does." Jack said, concluding the debriefing and sending the agents on their way to Parma.

Parma, Italy
When the agents arrived in Italy they piled into a van and headed off for the church. The van stopped and all the agents got out and half ran half walked towards the church.

Moments Earlier..
Larau Beaument, and a few of the other SG agents went into the church and took out the octagonal metal key that had the Rambaldi sign on it. Larau placed it in an indention in the wall, and the wall opened up. Larau ordered two of his men to stay outside, and Larau and another SG agent went inside where the wall opened. The two agents stayed outside, just like Larau had told them to, but two Mercenary agents soon killed them: Sark and Kiminu.

Present Time
Sydney walked up upon two dead SG agents lying on the floor of the church.
"Sark's already here." Kali said, taking out her gun and loading it. She looked at the opening in the wall, and saw the key that the SG stole placed in the wall that was open.

Sydney took out her gun also and cocked it, having it ready to fire. She looked back at the other agents and went through the hole in the wall. The room was empty except for a giant wooden staircase. It looked like it could fit two people on side by side, and it didn't look at all sturdy. It spiraled down towards the floor. Syndey looked down and all she saw was some of the staircase and darkness.
"Great." She mumbled.
She looked back at the others.
"So, who's going down the un-safe staircase first?"

Kali sighed.
"Just another thing that's out to kill us." She said, taking a step down the staircase. Everyone could tell that the staircase was not the most structurally sound thing. The agents followed behind and beside each other warily, just waiting for the staircase to collapse or an SG agent, or Mercenary agent to pop out of nowhere.

Sydney walked carefully down the stairs next to Kali. She couldn't see anything but the steps infront of her, which wasn't a comforting thought. She put her foot on the next step and she felt something happen. Before she could move her foot the step broke and her foot went through. She could hear some of the wood falling down. She cursed. As she got her foot out of the hole. Nothing was sticking in her thankfully, but she was sure someone would hear that. She got up and went down the stairs a little quicker to catch whoever was below off-gaurd.

Farther down on the stairs Kiminu looked up hearing the wood falling.
"We've got company." he told Sark.

Carly winced as she heard the wood. "Who was that?" she asked quietly.

"Don't shoot at the stairs, we can't risk Renie's life." Sark said.
"I know." Kiminu said, although he knew the real reason why Sark didn't want her to die, it wasn't just because she was their mole. Which Kiminu felt could jeopardize their entire operation at the wrong moment. Sydney ducked down and the rest of the team did as well whenever shots began to be fired at them. The agent’s shot back before continuing down the staircase, as Sark and Kiminu did as well. The fight stopped for a moment as each side kept continuing down the staircase. Both sides began to wonder where the SG agents were. Kali stepped over a broken step, as did Sydney, Carly, and Mia.

Sydney looked at Kali as they crouched down.
"I'm going down after Kiminu." she said and didn't wait to hear what she would say. She ran down the steps being careful where she stepped.

Kiminu and Sark kept running down the stairs trying to avoid the bullets from the APO agents while shooting back at them. Kiminu looked down and saw the SG agents below them. He smirked and looked at Sark.
"Go ahead, i'll stay here and catch them off-gaurd. Go and get the SG agents." Kiminu said to Sark. "They won't be expecting us."

Sark nodded and he began to go down to get the SG agents, and Mia and Carly went ahead with Sydney to go stop the SG agents. Kali went down the steps, and as she slowly put her foot on the next one it broke beneath her feet and the one above her broke as well and she fell through. She managed to grab the side of the stair that was still there before she fell to her death, but her fingers were slipping..

Sydney saw Kiminu right below her on the steps. She leaned over the rail and shot at him. It missed and hit the railing next to him. He looked up and saw her and shot. She ducked just in time. She shot again and then ran down the steps a little farther. Mia and Carly had already gotten past her and proably Kiminu by this point because she was keeping him occupied. She went over the shoot again but saw Kiminu shoot first. She moved just as the bullet went right where she had been.
"That was close." she breathed.
