Illeran saw Barbossa still fighting, and his lip curled in a sneer. The idiot. Why couldn't he stop worrying about his petty vengeances and think about his true objective for once? He retrieved the coal by himself as the coaltender had apparently drunk himself senseless and proceeded to find their stores of bandages. He rummaged through the upturned crates in the cargo hold and finally found a roll of white cloth.
"Happy?" he shot at Blackbird back beside Jack's bed.

Jack's eyes shot opened. He let out a scream of pain. His face was twisted in agony and his eyebrows bent forward. He started flinching and twitching his body but he couldn't stand it anymore. He then started fighting away the others by pushing them. He was growing quite violent.

"Easy, mate," Blackbird said, putting a steady hand on his shoulder. "You can thank me later." Grabbing the cloth from Illeran, tearing it into strips, and dipping it in a bucket of water, she started wrapping it around Jack's chest. "It was too deep for me to just bandage. Not if you wanted to survive, at least. Now that that's taken care of, I think we have some more urgent matters to attend to on deck."

Jack clenched his jaw and grinded his teeth. His eyes were twice their usual size as he tried to remain calm, even though it felt as if he were being stabbed all over again. He didn't talk because if he did, that would be one large piece of soap to fit in his mouth.
