Elizabeth raised an eyebrow scepticly, and surveyed the man with intressed. She tossed her hair, and looked him over a second time "Well I didnt know you kept a monster." she said, humor in her voice, talking to her host.

He heard Elizabeth's comment and he turned his head to look at her. His eyes blinked and he said, "Rachel and Kim keep a monster?" He raised his eyebrows very slightly.

Rachel's mouth dropped at Elizabeth's comment. She looked to Edward and then pushed him up the stairs. "I think that we'll have more fun up here." She couldn't believe what the woman had said.

Edward felt himself being yanked up the stairs...again. This was dragging him down. He finally haulted half way up and said, "Where is Kim?"

Rachel sighed and looked a little upset. "She's downstairs, meeting with the guests." She folded her arms and slowly went up the stairs. She was hating her mom at the moment.

Rachel stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes were wide, as she looked back to Edward. She felt tears sting at her eyes. "I don't know. And truthfully... I don't care." She shook her head and felt tears go down her cheeks. She ran up the stairs.

Evin watches the thing brush past him, suddenly feeling sorry for the odd person. He stands up and goes up the stairs to Edward. "Hey, you can hang out in my room, if you'd like...." He grins sort of lopsidedly, feeling almost as though a great game has begun, and for once, he is included.....

Rachel ran to her room and slammed the door after going inside. She laid down on her bed and started crying into her pillow. She didn't know why she was crying so much over Edward. Maybe, she was just jealous of her mom. Or maybe... she was already falling in love with Edward. She didn't know anymore.
