Mari smiled to herself and walked toward the Great Hall, smiling and thinking again as she walked. However, she became so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't turn enough around the Hufflepuff table, and crashed right into it. "Oh, sorry!" she told the few people that were there. She then proceeded, almost robotically, toward her sister. She sat down and pulled her hair behind her ear. "Did that just happen?" she asked, staring straight ahead.

"Oh," said Mari. She turned around and looked at them. "Hey, buzz off, will you? Yes, you. Get a life, will ya? How do you know the guy isn't taken or something? Go, go! Go before I jinx all of your robes....oh, believe me honey, you don't want to know. Get lost," she said. She turned back to her sister as they cleared off, giving her dirty looks. "Better?" she said, with the same grin on her face as when she would chase away annoying boys on the playgrounds so that they could get the swings to themselves.
