Obi-Wan looked at Padme with wide eyes, "Padme, remember who you are! Remember your place in this government! You must be strong. Don't give up, Padme!" Kenobi threw as much encouragement as possible....just to have her hang in there a little longer.

Padme slowly looked up to Obi-Wan and continued crying. "There isn't anything I can do anymore. They're going to kill me, Obi-Wan. I have nothing left to do." She cried to him and then looked over to Anakin, sadly.

Padme took a deep breath, when Anakin looked back to her. She slowly looked back to Obi-Wan and nodded. "Alright. I'll try." She said softly and bit her lower lip hard.

Kenobi smiled and stepped closer to her, "Good, Padme. Don't give up hope." He looked to Anakin across the way, but in his eyes, he had a look of uncertainty.

The officer harshly pulled on Obi-Wan's arms and pulled him away from Padme. He set him beside Anakin and Eljaraj and then looked to the General. General Ackbar nodded and snapped his fingers, so that the men would all aim their guns at Padme. "Just know, Queen Amidala... we are only doing this to help you. And the people of Naboo. With you dead, the planet won't be blown to smithereens."

Obi-Wan felt helpless. What could he do? There was no time to try to escape from the bonds. His eyes twitched nervously at the gunmen and then slowly closed.
He concentrated hard and the triggers on the blasters locked up. Sweat began to drip from his forehead, as he continued to keep his eyes shut.

General Ackbar pointed to Padme and nodded to the soldiers. "FIRE!" He yelled. The soldiers that were standing in a line pulled the triggers on their guns, but nothing happened. They all looked overly confused. "What the-" One of them said. General Ackbar raised an eyebrow and looked to them. He then looked over to Obi-Wan, Anakin and Eljaraj. He smirked a bit. "Well, well. Trying to save her, huh?"

Obi-Wan did not open his eyes or acknowledge the voice of the general. He needed to keep concentration on the force or Padme would die.

Anakin's eyes closed as well. He focused hard, and with anger started using the force. The blasters in the soldiers hands began to shake.
