Jack studied the flask before he snatched it out of Blackbird's hand. He lifted it to his mouth, but from throwing his head back slighty, he grew dizzy and started to look pale again. He blinked slowly as he felt the room spinning once more.

Blackbird reached out to steady him. "Take it easy, Jack," she said. "You're just a bit unsteady from the blood loss. Sit." Tilting her head up to listen, she added, "Illeran, it's too quiet up there. Go see what's going on."

Jack closed his eyes for a few minutes. He felt throbbing in his wound, and a sting that could not be described. He tried to relax telling himself in his mind, Pull it together Jack Sparrow...pull it together..

((Actually, what would be easiest is to just say that Barbossa won and leave it at that. Mari and Rhav, do you want to the crew of the Mar-Nemesio to be captured as well, or for them to have escaped somehow? (if they did escape, it might prove a means by which the others are rescued...just a thought)))
Blackbird rubbed the back of her head and sat up slowly. The last thing she remembered was Barbossa's men rushing into the small cabin and taking them all captive. Looking around, she realized they were in a small cell in the dark brig of Barbossa's ship. "Jack? Will?" she called out uncertainly.

A quiet moan came from the other side of the room. It was apparently Jack's voice, but he was in a different cell by himself for some odd reason. He heard the voice of Blackbird call to him, but he felt hot but cold at the same time. He felt drips of sweat on his forhead as he shook against his will. From the wound not healing properly he gained fever.
