The dwarf, came back into the room, finally standing upright and not crawling. But his face was an aweful shade of red that it almost made it look like the beard itself was glowing red.
He held a platter of what looked like food from the distance he was at.

The dwarf now stood next to Edmund. "For the little Prince..." he said in a mocking tone. He reached out and showed the brat just exactly was on the plate. Moldy hard bread, and a glass of stale water.

Jadis sat on her throne calmly as Edmund attacked the dwarf. She always liked watching a good fight. Smiling lightly, she then stood up slowly.

His chubby arms waved around and he kicked his legs.

Jadis' personality had now changed. She walked toward Edmund who was fighting with the dwarf and kicked him (Edmund) hard in the stomach. "Get up you fool!" she said loudly with an evil grin. She then kicked him again...throwing his body off the dwarf. "You shall never touch my servant again!"

edmund was not only crying in pain, but he was suprided at the witche's temperament change so quick...a tear left his eye when jadis kicked him again "b-b-b-but...you..s-s-said...." words were now failing him
