Logans words broke Tania's concentration. She slowly turned her head to look at him, trying to mask her hurt at Scotts accusations.
"I don't understand what I've done wrong" she replied in a low whisper.
She looked down, trying to work it out in her head. Turning her head back up towards Logan she spoke again "I had all these things in my head I wanted to say to you. I guess now isn't such a good time. Maybe once we get up to this Avalon..." she trailed off her words, unsure of how Logan would react.

He looked away from her and puffed clouds of smoke from his cigar as he placed his feet ontop of the chair infront of him.

Tania sat deep in her thoughts. She was starting to regret coming back to the Institute. Everyone was acting different around her, especially Logan. Someone she thought was at the very least a good and trusted friend.
She realised deep down that it could only ever be a friendship. He was still too in love with Jean, even though she'd been gone over a year.
She sighed and held her tears in check. _________________

Tempest walked up towards the cockpit of the large ship, and peeked her head inside and spoke to the pilot.
"How long till we're there? The natives are gettin restless"
"About 30 minutes approximately." he replied matter of factly.
"Good. I can't wait to get back there. These X-people are a buncha laughs" she said her voice oozing sarcasm.

Scott turned his head toward Tempest. He unbuckled his safety belt and stood up straight. "What did you say?" His voice was muffled and deep.
He walked briskly toward Tempest with clenched fists. He faced her directly and was within 3 inches of her face. "A bunch of laughs eh? Do you want to know what I think about you?" His eyebrows frowned over his glasses.
