Layien put down her mug of beer she had been happily drinking. She looked at Arthur in disbelief. "Arthur...we are one night's rest away from freedom...and you ask this of us now? Of all times?" She stared at him, but then sighed. "You have not lead of astray yet, Arthur. If this is how it must be, I'd better stop drinking." Then sighing, she turned and left to get her mare ready.
