Layien sat at the end of the Eagle table and stretched her sore leg out, picking up an small red apple and taking an bite out of it. She looked around, being an 4th year now, right in the middle of young and old. She saw many new faces but more old ones, which made her smile.

Layien finished her apple and shot it into a near-by trashcan and missed. That's why I play Quidditch. She thought, smiling to herself.

Riley sat at the fox table around the other 6th years, smiling at her friends that she hadn't seen in so long as she ate between her words. She enjoyed this time of the day, when she could loosen up around the other Foxes and not have to worry about classes and such

Layien turned back and looked around as the hall began to fill up and students started to sit down and the hall's noise level arose. She sighed and keep her thoughts to herself as she waited for the Headmistress to come and give a speech.
