Blayge started pulling up on the second ship, and landed on deck with a thump, looking much like a drenched rat.
"The archers.... other ship... death..." he gasped, while spitting out all the water he had swallowed.
And then he saw it. The second ship had been destroyed to. He crawled about deck, looking at the dead bodies. Who had done this? He could see no archers anywhere...
The combination of blood stench and the exhausting swim he had just taken was not exactly good. Everything was getting dizzy... and far away... and the he felt he was back in his home again with the other gnome folk, except the fire wasn't producing warmth like it was supposed to, and...
Everything suddenly faded out, and his lean body fell over with a thump, into an awward position.

As the elves bodies fell to the deck Dar squirled in slight anger, but pondered how stupidly devoted these deathbringers were. No matter this was not a loss, on the controrery he knew what to do the next time. Dar gazed towards the docks with his pearl white eyes and looked as the fighting took place, he could interfere and burn a group of them with a fireball.
Yet that was not good for his plans and he did not care for the war, but as long as it brought his profit all was well. He cast a teleportal spell, opening a doorway into another plane and stepped right trough. He gazed around quietly, it was a room that was well decorated and equipped for magical studies. It was a pocket plane that he had discovered long ago and settled there as it proved most useful for hiding....

Drizzt chuckled as he watched the groups fight. He loved the sensation of death... blood... suffering...
When he was younger he tried to resist his vampire ways but he eventually relented and enjoyed the sweet thick taste of blood on his lips. He started to salivate at the thought of it.... the vampire started to emerge from the shadows when he saw a gnome lying at his feet. Drizzt gave the gnome a sharp kick and gave him a deathly glare....... Right now Drizzt was not in the mood to have anything get in his way..

Eran was still troubled as he and the remaining Death Bringers brought death to the Gorges soldiers. Next time, he would have to train them to guard their minds better. If there was a next time...He cast a shroud of invisibility over himself and his soldiers to protect them from any eyes.

Dar pulled out a map from his pocket and scrolled it open as he examined the room of the wall, the whole wall had the world map hanging on it. It had small needles sticking out of it with different coloured feathers in their ends. Dar compared the maps and moved around the needles that actually described garrisons, armies or attacks that moved across the lands.
The latest fighting that had taken place at the docks was not what Dar had expected yet now that the deathbringers were involved they could prove of more use to Dar. Actually Dar had lived a quiet life as a merchant of artifacts before this in Gorges lands until he was discovered by the searches that were concluded before the Gorges began their war. Perhaps.... the deathbringers might prove to be of most useful of allies unless they would jump to the walls by the fact that he had killed some of them. They were the aggressors in that situation and Dar might actually help them in some manner as Dar truly held no alligiances thus taking everyone`s side would be the best option. Dar prepared himself for another conflict just in case and put his map back in his pocket. He opened another portal once more, he cast a spell of invisibility before going trough the portal and entering the sight of the battle. He moved around without greater care of detection as it appeared that most of the armies were scrambling. Dar began to follow what he thought were the deathbringers.
He would have to search out the leader of these deathbringers and approach him with caution....

(Don't you think that is a bit cheap, Curu? Your guy seems to know where a place is even though he hasn't seen it yet? And only ten were there also Dar didn't kill the Death Bringers; they killed themselves)
Eran and the remainder Death Bringers returned home towards Shaeage. They had decided that the battle was going to Staragias' favor. As soon as they got home, Eran burned five branches of a rare tree that grew near their citadel in the memory of the loss of the Death Bringers. They had proved themselves in life and death loyal to their cause. What worried him was who caused their suicides. Obviously someone who wanted to extract information mentally. He had then decided to appoint Faris, a cunning yet loyal Death Bringer, as second-in-command and ordered him to inform the organization that they were to train in mental defense. Eran himself planned to devote two hours in training. After the five branches withered in the flames, he passed through the corridors and hallways in his citadel. Every time he passed a strange green rock embedded in the wall, he waved his hand over it, making it glow. These rocks would reveal anyone under the shroud of invisibility.

Now, all that was left on the ship that Sahpire was on was a vampire, and he had gone to a dwarf that now lay akwardly. She looked around. The fighting had stopped. It seemed that the Gorges were defeated... or were they? It was hard to tell who had really won. There was so much destruction. Dead bodies floated in the water, ships, and a few buildings were on fire. Saphire could smell the blood, and turned her head in disguesed. She sat, and leaned against the huge wheel that steered the ship. Luckily for her she was still out of sight of the vampire... But what if he sensed her? Saphire shook her head, then she would jumpe in the water and swim away... if she could remember how to swim...

(Ok hah... sorry Caunion I edited the post, but character is quite determined to get what he wants and I hope my edited version works with you all tough my character will not have found the place just like that now....)
After diverting and speeding his journey Dar realised that he had been following a band of foolish Gorges, he cursed and turned his eyes back towards the sight of the battle. There were figures in the night and it was impossible to determine where they were going or who they were, but what Dar was capable of doing was to follow one of these as his minions from other planes could spy upon the rest.
He concentrated and opened a portal from another plane, it seemed as, if concentrated masses of air had appeared trough the portal hearing the mages call. These lesser air elementals could move tirelessly with the wind making them useful in scouting and spying, he sent them forth with exact orders of what to look for. They would return after following all of the groups to their destinations, if they were elves to begin with. Thus he relaxledly could set down in the nearby caves to where the elementals would return in time. It might take days or weeks, but Dar had time to wait and he would simply prey upon the humans that lived nearby...

[heeey! I'm not a dwarf, I'm a gnome! they're quite different you know. Gnomes are more like goblins.]
Blayge's eyes came open and peered around sharply. He raised his brows at the girl steering their boat, but made no noise. She wasn't an elf, that was for sure. He tried not to laugh, but he couldn't help himself. Mischief danced in his eyes.
His shrill laugh hit the air eerily, sounding almost maniacal in the dark air.

(oh, sorry... gnome, not dwarf, gnome.... gnome? lol, like a garden gnome, only alive? lol)
Saphire got up, supprised, and looked around.
"Who, what, were?" she stampered, then saw the GNOME and relaxed a bit. Though she lifted her hands up to grab her twins swords that were usually slung over her back to find that she had left them on the other boat.
"Whats so funny?" she demanded, eyes black...

(actually no, goblins are like orcs and gnomes are more like dwarves and halflings)

[it depends on how you interpret them though. Some gnomes are the size of fairies. some goblins are good. My gnome however Is the size of a dwarf, but looks nor acts nothing like one. I would compare this gnome to a Scottish brownie, except larger. Read his description back on page one.]
Blayge rolled over swiftly, and waggled his eyebrows at her. "Who are you, What are you steering our ship for, and Where did you come from?" he asked, ignoring her question.

(awww.... how come theres no pictures on there? oh well! *goesonwithlife*)
"I'm Saphire, and I wasn't steering, I was leaning against the wheel, and I came from..." she trailed off. Come to think of it, she really didn't know were she came from..."Well it matters how you think of it. If you mean how I got on this ship... I swam abourd, or if you mean my origins, which I can't tell you... now whats so funny!" she demanded...
(I'm trying on my black cloak for my Halloween costum... looks liike Arwen's I say...)

[Hmmm, probably the first definition is the best. As of right now, I'm going by a Charles Williams/ Inklings view of gnome. Sadly, I don't think any of you have gotten into his works. Here is a pretty good gnome picture Eruania... http://www.play.net/images/dr/races/new/gnomes.gif ]
