Mia stared at the board at the front, not seeing or hearing anything that was going on. She was too busy thinking about him, he was so drop dead gorgeous and all hers. But she couldn't tell anyone yet. She smiled to herself and then the teacher woke her from her reverie as she snapped at the girl next to her to wake up. Oh, she means me, not the girl next to me. Mia suddenly thought to herself. Her cheeks turned crimson and she sat up straighter, aware of the looks she was getting, sly smirks from the populars and geeky grins from the swotty lot.

Not long after the buzzer went and Mia threw her stuff in to her bag and slipped out of the classroom before the teacher could call her back for a 'word'.

Annalett smiled at Bryce's note. She took notes as the teacher said his speech about cells. With a sigh, she grabbed a bit of play-dough she stashed in her backpack, and started mooshing it with her hand. She couldn't stop thinking about the new movie coming out in theaters today at midnight, she had to see it, she'd been waiting all year for it...

BTW, as an American m'self, I'll say that Freshman are between 14-15, and must be at least 14 by Dec. 31st of that school year. So for instance, you can come in on September 3rd, 2007 or whatever at the age of 13, and turn 14 on December 15th, 2007. But you CAN'T walk in at age 13 and turn 14 February 9th, 2008. Sophomores are 15-16, Juniors 16-17, Seniors 17-18.]
