Great! I got you up! I'll post the start off in a minute...
EDIT:---------------------------------------------------------------------
Suakii stared at the water glass in her hand, shocked. She barely even flinched as her dark hair whipped at her pale cheeks in the harsh wind. She moved her hand, to look at what was her water. It was now ice. She had no idea what happened. After recovering, she tried to convince herself that it was all an illusion, but the sight of the solid, melting ice inside the cracked glass was to hard of proof. Curious, she went into the small cottage that she, her twin sister, and her parents lived in, and poored some more water. She grasped the glass, and tensed, expecting it to freeze, just like the last time. But it did nothing. Releived, she relaxed her muscles, and sat back in the old wicker chair that sat near the door. But it was short lived, as she became aware of the clear cracking noise of rapid freezing ice, coupled with the sound of falling glass. She looked down, where the remaints of her glass lay, and then to her hand, where a pillar of ice rested inside half of a cracked glass.
She nervously threw out both glasses, along with the ice, and swept up the mess the left. She was now glad that her parents were not here, that loud crack would have drawn at least her father into the room imedietly. After this, she sat back down heavily in the armchair. As she sat, she suddenly became aware of a crackling noise under her hand, and raised it, there she clearly saw the wicker chair arm smoldering under her finger tips. With a sharp intake of breath she juped to her feet, then spun back around to stare at it. It was burned alright. She then looked at her hand, that, aside from some being slightly red, was perfectly normal. Now things were getting scary. First she can freeze things, then she can burn things. This was deffinatly not a normal day. She thought about it, and the only conclusion that it was her and her sister's birthday.
Some birthday gift... She thought, I get scared out of my witts, break two glasses, and burn the arm of the most comfortable chair in the house! She then sat down - avoiding touching any part of the chair, for in fear of either freezing it over or burning it to ashes - and wrapped her arms around herself. After a while, the sky grew dark, and she rose to go and change for bed. She then walked into her bathroom to wash her face, desparetly hoping that somehow, this was all just a crazy dream.

((Just two quick things before I post: The siblings don't all know they're siblings yet, right? Except the twins? So they all live with different families? And just to clarify - they're against Grenik so they're on Sielio's side, correct? I was kinda thinking that if Rhaeryn has a bodyguard it makes sense for her to live with a fairly rich family))

((No, they don't know they're siblings, and yes, they are in different homes. But whose side they are on is up to you. I would very, very, very much like them all to bear allegiance to Sielio at the end, but for now, either is fine. And yes, I agree, it makes much sense for her to be in a rich family. I would have noticed that, really, I would! *nose becomes very long* Ok... Mabye not...))

((Kay, well, Rhae's only 13 and doesn't really care, so I guess she's not on a side for now. How do you plan for the siblings to meet up?))
Fountains bubbled quietly, and the occasional breath of wind stirred the leaves of the elegantly clipped shrubs and trees, but all was mostly quiet in the garden of the large stone villa. So if one listened intently, one might just catch the surreptitious turning of pages.
Rhaeryn, with the results of her current theivery from the library, sat in the shade of an elegantly groomed tree, and every so often glanced around the garden. She had become quite practiced at hiding a book at a moment's notice, should either of her parents make an appearance. Rhae knew very well they would prefer that she not read most of the content of their extensive collection of books, but there really wasn't much else to do - and fairy tales couldn't hurt, once in a while.

((Ah, well.. thats a work in progress.... No, jk. I have a plan cooking up in my head, and should go well, but right now, I see no non-wierd way for them to meet. I'd rather keep it to myself for know, as I know nothing definate, depending on the situations that they are all in currently.
P.S. Would anyone be for/agaist them having some sort of marking? And if so, would anyone sue me for copyright on Eragon if it was o
n their hands?))
EDIT:((Just a note, I might have made it sound like the Kiani that havn't come of age can't use their powers... They can, as long as they know and believe that they have them, and can use them. At 18 though, it becomes inevident that they use them. And in time, learning to control their powers is natural.))

Why not have it on the soles of their feet? Though really, I think they would've noticed if they had a marking on their hand all through the years....
----
Aivon Tagon stood silently in the garden, ignoring the young girl who sat reading nearby. She was his ward, and he was bound to protect her. Thus, he ignored her. What he did not ignore, though, was her surroundings. Having been standing there for several hours, and having been there in the same situation many, many times before, he was on an almost familiar standing with the various trees and animals, knowing each individual one simply due to hours of looking around for threats. Many people would find something like that boring--Aivon found it compelling. If he failed, and something happened to Rhaeryn, he would hunt down those responsible or die trying. However, he had no desire for anything to happen to her, since he had been her bodyguard for years, now.
He saw a slight movement among the trees, and his muscles tensed, but he made no movement beyond moving his eyes to look for whatever he had seen. He found it, and relaxed. Only a squirrel. That had happened many times, but it helped him keep his edge. He went back into his still-as-stone vigil, his eyes never ceasing their scanning of their surroundings.

((What if a sort of marking developed as they discovered how to use their powers? Like, as an example, if Rhaeryn was trying to hide sometime and discovered she could sort of fade and turn somewhat less visible, maybe later she'd notice a marking?))

((MY charrie dosn't have powers, so it wouldn't effect him, but the mark could be on the back of their ankle, it just seems easier than on the bottom on their feet, plusit would make it more visible to Grenik seeing it, that could spell truble, but, thats good right?
PS, Still working on a starting for the prince))

((Well... I kinda liked the idea of it on the hand, becuase someone threatening you by pointing out a marking on the back of your ankle is not really that... dramatic. I think I'd at least chuckle. But yes, that is a good idea Meldawen! I think I'll do that... As soon as we decide where it is... I thought about having it right at the base of the neck, where your collar bone cuts off, and there is no bone. But I still have to come up with what it would look like... (Feel free to share ideas!!)))

((I think I like the hand idea best...I don't care if it does copy Eragon ))
Rhaeryn glanced up and rolled her eyes at Aivon's motionless form. Who on earth's going to attack me in the garden? And why would they want to?
After a moment's contemplation, she shut the book. It was almost dinnertime anyway, and if she didn't get in trouble for reading, being late for dinner would definetely do it.

((Ok then, I'll go off and think up some little mark.... *sigh* Artemis said that she won't be on 'til the weekend though, so for now... grrr..... I don't know. She plays one of the twins, so they'll be going pretty slow.))
