Samintara walked through the forest, until, up ahead, she began to hear voices. She walked cautiously towards the noise. Stepping out from behind a tree, dagger in hand, she glanced at a beautiful lady in front of her.
"Who are you?" she asked lowering the dagger but still keeping it in close range.

"I am Lauramel. I will lead you on your journey from here." the woman said in an angelic voice.

"okay."

"Will you wait with the others until the rest arrive?" she spoke softly as she gestured towards two other mortals.
"Okay?" Samintara answered a questioned look on her face. She moved to the others ," what is happening?" she asked.

"Woa!" Nasha yelped as she slid down a hill that she was priorly unaware that it was covered with leaves. Halting from hitting a tree on the bottom, Nasha picked herself up and wobbled to a standing position.

"Hello Nasha. I am Lauramel," came a pleasant voice from a lady that stood but 10 feet from her. It appeared that the lady had some sort of smirk or smile upon her face, and Nasha could only conclude that the lady had seen her fall. "I am going to lead you from here," the lady continued.

Nasha stood back for a second. On one hand, the village elders had warned her about traveling off with strangers. On the other hand, the lady knew her name, so she couldn't possibly be a stranger. "Ok," Nasha agreed after ignorant thought and trampled off with the lady to where the others were.

Elerina saw Lauramel to coming back.She was leading another girl with her.When she approached she greeted.
"Hello Anira,Elerina and Samintara!This is Nasha"Nasha waved to them."Now when you are all here we can go to the sorceress.Follow me!"
Lauramel walked by them and the girls followed her.The druid let them to the highest tree.There was a ladder which was leading to the top.
"For now on you are alone,ladies."said Lauramel."Up there you'll find all the answers you are searching for."The woman smiled."We may meet again one day.But for now goodbye and success!"
And Lauramel disappeared in the woods once more.The girls stared to climb the ladder.When they reached the top they saw a big building,which they didn't saw from the ground.The group entered carfully.Now they were standing in a hall with a throne in the center.In the throne was sitting a woman with white dress,dark hair and blue eyes.When she saw the girls entering,she stood up and saluted.
"Welcome Anira,Elerina,Samintara and Nasha!I was waiting for this moment for many years!"She smiled.The girls bowed before her.They knew she was the Wood sorceress."Yes"continued the sorceress."I'm Arianna-the Keeper of the Elking Woods.Now,I think you are asking yourself why are you here."
The girls nodded.
"You are here because you have common past and common future.But first I think it'll be better to start with the beginning.Please sit down:
"Everything began with the creation of the World.The forces of good and evil have always fought fight for domination.That brought to the humanity many disasters.That's why the gods gathered and decided that there must be balance between good and evil.
That's why they chose four men and women with pure hearts to keep the balance of the forces in the World.The Gods gave them four Masks:of Air,Water,Fire and Earth,whit which help they could control the nature powers.This is how the World was saved from destruction.When there was a peace and the people didn't needed defenders anymore,the Keepers took off their masks and hid them,so if there is need,they could be used again.Those brave men and women were your ancestors,dear girls.And the time has come once again,when the World needs the help of the Keepers of the peace,the Keepers of the Four Masks.
You brought with you four stones:Topaz,Turquoise,Rubin and Emerald.Show them to me."
When the girls took out the stones,the whole hall was filled with different lights.
"Do you see?"smiled Arianna."You are the one!You must find the Masks.Those stones are the keys which unlocks the Masks powers.Even now you posses powers for which you don't know."
"Powers,what powers?"asked Elerina.
Arianna turned to her.
"Elerina,think on the fire."
"On the fire?"
"Yes,child,concentrate!"
Elerina closed her eyes.She was thinking on the warm fire that was burining in the fireplace of her house.She opened her eyes and saw a fire-ball in her hand.
Arianna smiled and turned to Anira:
"Anira think on the warm wind in the summer nights"
Anira closed her eyes and around her formed whirlwind.
"Good,you Nasha think on the Sea..on the gulls and the sea creatures."
After Nasha closed her eyes,in her hand popped a ball of water.
"And now you Samintara-think on your beloved woods and plants"
Samintara closed her eyes and from the ground grew a small tree.
The girls were amazed by the powers they had.
"When you find the Masks.You'll posses more might then now.Use it well and don't abuse with the powers you have!"
"But you said,my lady,that the Masks were hidden.Where could we find them?"asked Elerina.
"I can't tell you,because I don't know.The last Keepers thought it would be better to keep the locations secret.All I can tell you is that they are hidden in the four directions of the world.Their names will show you where exactly.And one more thing.Once you find the Masks and put them on your face,they will blend with your skin.Don't be afraid,when your task is done the Masks will remove alone!"
"Blend with our skin?!"asked Elerina.She was confused.
"you and the mask will become one,child"said Arianna.
Elerina looked at the other girls.She was still confused how the mask will blend with her skin.

"So what do we do now?" she asked. "Go look for these masks? How will we know what direction to look in? Whose mask is in which direction?"

"Hmm...Let's see.The four directions it the world....In North lies the Silver Mountain-there must be the Air mask,in South-it's the Sea and probably there's the water mask.Then in East is the Dragon Volcano-the location of the Fire mask,I think and in the East-the abyss,from where the Demons came...and the Earth Mask lies there."

Anira remained quiet, pondering the situation. So it is to the Silver Mountain that I must travel. she thought to herself. I wonder what shall await me there. No doubt the mask will be guarded somehow. she thought silently. "When we do find our masks, where should we meet again? Or do you believe that it is in our best interest to remain together?" she asked.
