John looked at the second person, turning his gun to face him. "What would those six said reasons be, and WHY would they apply to us." John asked, his gun still ready to shoot if needed.

"Well, yes, ummm..." the Doctor started. "One, I'm the Doctor. Two, I'm a Time Lord. Three, ummmm...I'm in a strange place where I never seen before. So if you have to kill me, you should let me take a look around before you do. Four..do we really have to go through the rest of them? It's pretty much the same."

John raised an eyebrow when the person spoke, but then turned to listen as the other person spoke. "One, we already have a doctor, we do not need any more doctors in Atlantis. Two, what the heck is a time lord. Three, hardly anyone has seen this place, join the club. Four, yes you do as I am not convinced and neither is anyone else."

Sam stood back with Teyla and Rodney, looking un-impressed, deciding to let John handle them.

John rolled his eyes discreetly at the doctors question. "You are in Atlantis. Properly known as the lost city of Atlantis. Now, I do believe you have yet to tell us WHY you are here..."

"Does it really matter why we're here?" Jack asked. He stuck out his hand. "Captain Jack Harkness. So, who are you?"

"Atlantis?" repeated the Doctor. "Ooooh, I've never been to Atlantis! Actually which one? The planet Atlantis? The spaceship Atlantis? The station Atlantis? The Lost City of Atlantis?" He laughed and said, "I've been to that Atlantis before."

John looked at the hand that Jack had stuck out, however he did not make any move to shake it. Instead, he turned his attention back to the doctor. "Yes, the Lost City of Atlantis. In the Pegasus Galaxy. The whole city under-water thing, that's us. Only we managed to re-surface the city."

"Colonel" Said Sam, shooting John a warning look.

John turned to look at Sam, catching her warning look. He wasn't daft, he wouldn't tell them everything. From what he could tell they were just a bunch of travellers. He turned back to the two people. "And now, I think it is time that you have left." He told the doctor and Jack.

"Colonel" Repeted Sam, a little louder this time, raising her eyebrows at him. Seeing that the men wern't a threat She headed down the steps towards them. "Hi, i'm Dr.Col. Sammantha Carter, head of this opperation. This is Lt.Col. John Sheppard, Dr. Rodney Mackay, Teyla Emmagan and Ronan Dex." She said, indicating each person as she said their names.

Well, somebody was certainly rude. Jack scowled and pulled his hand back. So he was kicking them out already? Party pooper. He was probably hiding something from them. Atleast they had gotten past the "We're going to shoot you" phase. Dying probably wouldn't be the best way to start off the day.
He was about to comment when the lady came to her senses and introduced her friends. That was more like it.
