"No!" Guinivere shot back at her, folding her arms. "It's beautiful, much more beautiful than here, at any rate." Her temper was increasingly rising, she didn't have much patience left. "Why do you want to know anyway?" She turned away slightly, the silver material of her dress shimmering.

Sierra was caught off guard by the star's harshness.
"I'm sorry if I offended you. I hadn't meant to. I was just wondering, because I've never been up there," she said, watching the shimering of the silver material of the dress. "You can't blame me for being curious."

"No, I suppose I can't." Guinivere turned back towards her. "Well, you have met me now - princess of Stormhold, was it?" She sighed, pushing back her hair again. "And I have no where to go, so I must stand in this crater." Her voice shook a little, with upset and resentment.

"Huh? I hadn't said I was a princess... oh wait, it must be obvious," Sierra trailed off, glancing at her Navy-blue dress, then back up at Guinivere.
"Well, you could come to the castle... oh wait, that might be dangerous to you. Um... I think my Uncle has a Babylonian candle, if that could help get you home..." She said, grasping her chin in thought with slender fingers...

Guinivere paused, and looked at the girl. "I cannot stay here all night," she confirmed, her bright eyes filled with both sadness and irritation. She looked around, then back at the princess. "Is there anywhere at all I could go?"

"Um... lets see... there's an abandoned cottage not far from here. It's a little dusty, but should do," Sierra said quickly. "we could get there in a few minutes on horseback."

"Excellent," Guinivere said briskly. She was pleased that she could at least have somewhere to stay that was a bit warmer than in this crater. She smiled at the girl, realising that she had to be pleasant. "Thank you," she added.

Sierra nodded, and turned to look up the steep incline of the crater, then turned back to Guinivere.
"Do you think you can climb out on your own, or will you need help?"

Guinivere hesitated, then moved towards the edge of the crater. Helplessly, she turned to Sierra. "I'm still hurting," she said. "I did fall all the way from the sky."

Sierra nodded slowly, thinking for a second. Then she got an idea.
"Wait here," she said, and scrambled up the edge, almost slipping once or twice. She ran to her horse's side and dug inside the saddle bag.
"Where is it?" she mumbled to herself. Eventually she pulled out a piece of rope. One end she looped around the mare's neck, and the other she let down to Guinivere.
"Can you hold on to that? My horse can pull you up, and you can use the cloak as a shield from rocks."

Guinivere gripped the rope tightly. "Alright," she said. The horse tugged her up the crater, and she scrambled towards the top. Standing up, she brushed the dust from her hands. Flicking her hair, she directed a radiant smile at the girl, a sure sign that she was pleased. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Sierra said, as she re-coiled the rope and put it back in the saddle-bag. She then mounted and held out a hand to Guenivere so she could get on behind her...

Guinivere hesitantly took Sierra's outstretched hand and pulled herself up onto the horse. A little unsteady, she held tightly onto the saddle. "The cottage isn't far from here?" she asked. She wondered what she'd do once she got there. She didn't sleep, so that was out of the question. She didn't eat, either. She frowned a little.

"Not far. Hold me around the waste, you'll be steadier that way," Sierra said, before turning the horse away from the crater and urging her into a very smooth canter.
