Journal Entry#2

I spent longer than I meant to walking around the Temple, but it was a good time. It gave me some time to think. I just let my mind wonder. I saw Meyta and Freytha on my walk. They seem to be up to something. Whatever it is they looked to be having fun.

I saw something else strange on my walk. I thought my master was back at your place meditating yet I saw him and some of the other masters talking. I went up to make sure Master Simeon had not been looking for me. The stopped talking when I got in ear shot. Master Simeon said he wasn't looking for me, and that I should continue with my walk. It's not a strong feeling, but I feel like something is coming. I just can't see it yet.

Neeva once again was brought out of her writing when she heard her master come in. She searched with her senses to see if she could tell his emotions. Like always, she only felt a calm. Neeve envied the way her master kept his emotions.

"I can feel your concern, child. What's wrong?" Master Simeon said turning to face his padawan.

Neeva's emotions, on the other hand, seemed all to transparent. "I feel a small tremor, Master," Neeva replied. "And you and the other masters seem..." here Neeva paused not sure weather she was out of line or not. Master Simeon nodded for her to continue so she started up again. "You and the other masters seemed to be talking about something important. Is everything alright?"

"Everything is fine, young Neeva. When you search with you senses, remember to not look through the eyes of your feelings or suspicions. For they can be misleading," Master Simeon told her. Still seeing some concern in Neeva's eyes he added, "No matter what, everything will be alright."

It did help, just somehow not much.

Reality: I have been cleaning the house and now I'm done for the day.

Olleia Renji, most commonly known as Renji, looked around her room. She had finish cleaning what needed cleaning (which wasn't much, but she had been getting board,) abd it was now spotless. Renji sighed, realizing she now had nothing to do. After a rather successful training session earlier in the day, through out which she managed to, for the most part, kept herself from getting frustrated, her master had given her the rest of the day to relax. With a small smile at the thought of her success, she decided to take a walk, and headed out the door of her room.

Journal Entry #5: Jedi Youngling Freytha Barana
Random observation about myself... I get really cold in the wintertime, even when I'm wearing several layers...

Fretha looked incredulous "Sparkly Bows plus Mace Windu... I think I need to go to my happy place now... Just kidding!" She noticed her friend's paranoia about over-spending, "I'll help pay for this stuff, if we get in trouble, we get in trouble together!" She grabbed Meyta's hand and ran into a nearby Christmas Store, brimming over with good cheer and candycanes. The shop-keeper looked a bit startled at the sight of two Jedi Younglings wandering in.

School ate my life. *sigh*

Reality:I spent a lot of the day helping with odds and ends around the house. Oh, and I've been trying to help my grandma put together a puzzle. "Trying" is the important word.

Today I was given a test. It was to heighten my observation skills. I did okay. Master Simeon told me that the test is a hard one, and it would take time to really get. I hope he's right. I really do want to please him. He's the closest thing to a father I've ever had. And I seem to not be doing as well in other areas. I should have some area I'm good at, right? Master says some day I will a wonderful jedi master. I hope he's right.

Neeva wound her way through the corridors leading to Mirna's room. She knocked on the door hoping her friend was inside. "Mirna, you there?" she called.

Journal Entry #5: Jedi Youngling Meyta Wijou
I can't believe it's almost Christmas. This year has been flying by pretty fast.

Meyta looked around at the shop, which was decked out with all kinds of toys and ornaments. She wandered over to some garlands. They came in silver, gold, white, red, and green, and were fairly cheap. "Hey, look at these," she said, gesturing for Freytha to come over. Meyta picked out some white and green garlands and then a pack of sparkly gold bows.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know...

Still no answer about a Master today. I have finished wrapping all my presents and putting up the decorations.

Put on your yalmulka, here comes hanukkah
Its so much fun-akkah to celebrate hanukkah,

(Sure. We would probably all know eachother and since Jax lost his first Master and Renji lost her brother they would have some common ground. )

Reality: I have lots of work to do today.

Journal Entry #4: Jedi Padawan Jax Nova

Elsilrack and I were still talking when I recieved a message from Master Athar. Apparently her and I have been given a mission. It's a group mission so there will be other Jedi with us, but I am not sure who else will be comming yet.

It strikes me as slightly odd to be given a mission so soon after recieving my new Master, but I'm glad. It will take my mind off... things, and give me a chance to get to know Caya better. Perhaps that was the council's reasoning as well.

After Elsilrack and I got to a stopping place in our conversation I flipped open my data pad to take a look at the message.

From: Caya Athar
To: Jax Nova
Subject: New Assignment
Text: Hello, Jax, this is Caya. The Jedi council just contacted me with
a new mission assignment. It seems that the trade Federation is
causing some problems on the planet of Selonia.

Were not sure what problems the Trade Federation is causing
Yet, but we have got several complaints from the locals.

Jax looked up from the data pad. "My mission statement says that the Federation is causing problems out on Selonia," he commented to Elsislrack. "I'll have to finish this conversation later, sorry, they want me to report to the council room. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for any more strange activity."

Jax walked out and down the hall stopping by the room of Olleia Renji, one of his Padawan friends. He rang her bell to see if she was there before heading down to the Jedi Council chamber.

Right before Renji went to grab the handle of her door to go on her walk, her data pad showed a new message. She sighed then flipped it open to find a message from her master:


From: Kal Nagrom
To: Olleia Renji
Subject: New Assignment
Text: I know I gave you the rest of the day off, but you have to report to the council room. We have an assignment. It would appear that the trade federation is starting some sort of problems on Selonia.



Renji's bell rang. She opened the find one of her friends, Jax, standing behind it.

"Hey Jax," she said, "What can I do for you. I'm kinda in a hurry, I have to get down to the council room."

After saying his farewells, Elsilrac left the room and opened his comm to Dalo. "Dalo? You listening?" He asked, keeping himslef hidden.

His son responded almost instantly. "Intently, Dad. You heard anything?" he asked Elsilrac, sounding stressed.

"The Feds seem to be causeing trouble on Selonia. You heard anything?" He asked Dalo, picking up on his son's tone.

"They're bawling at each other now. That bloody Neemie needs to get a smaller miter and get an ego adjustment." Dalo sneered over the comm.

Elsilrac nodded. "Alright, I'm going to see if I can tag along with Master Athar. Maybe I can uncover something there." He said quietly, then killed the comm and headed for Master Windu's quarters. Athar could use another blaster.

Reality: I have had a busy day preparing for tomorrow. It's almost Christmas, and I couldn't be more excited!

Journal Entry#4
I was just starting to talk to Mirna when my master showed up. He told me that I needed to come with him to the council chamber. I did mention that I'd had a feeling something was coming, right?

"Is something wrong, Master?" Neeva asked searching for her bag that she'd set down...somewhere.

"It appears that the Trade Federation is causing some trouble for the people of Selonia. A group of masters and their padawans are being sent to investigate. We will be given more information when we get to the council room." Master Simeon told Neeva who by now had found her bag. He had to smile as she held it proudly.

He turned his attention to Mirna. "I know you do not have a master, young one, but I have been granted permission to take you with Neeva and myself. If you wish to travel with us, you will come to the council room with us right now."

Neeva looked at her friend hoping she'd accept.

"Hey," Jax greeted Renji. "I'm in a hurry as well, infact I was heading down to the council room myself." Jax motioned for the two of them to continue together.

"I was going to stop by and tell you that I wasn't going to make it to our chess game tomorow night, but it looks like we are both going on this one."


Jax headed down towards the council chambers to find several Jedi already gathered. He walked over to Master Caya Athar and bowed. "I got your message Master. Do we have any more details on the mission yet?"

Athar motioned towards Master Yoda. "Master Yoda is going to fill us in once everyone gets here."

Renji nodded and followed Jax down to the Council room. Many were already there, so she walked over to her own master.

"I got your message," she said simple.

Her master smiled, "I though you might have. Master Yoda is going to explain what is going on when everyone is here."
