Vince Noir had a feeling he'd need his List of Excuses For Being Late. It wasn't really his fault, of course; there'd been an incident with his boot running away, and he'd had to spend an extra few minutes on his hair because the weather had made it a bit funny, and then he'd started doodling a mod rhino on a napkin and he'd had to finish it because it was really quite a lovely rhino. And then the number 7 had threatened him with a tennis ball.
The last bit wasn't exactly true, sure, but it was a pretty good reason to be late. The number 7 wasn't one to be trifled with.
Vince grabbed a brightly coloured scarf on his way out of his dorm, wrapped it around his neck, and headed off in what might've been the direction of his first class.

The wind was blowing, and one could smell the salt in the surrounding air. The sun baked the deck, and the crew on it. But, none of this eccentricities meant anything next to the touch of the wooden splintered wheel upon Jack Sparrow's hand.
"Where are we going Cap'n?" A crew member, whose name escaped Jack that instant, no... wait... it was Gibbs.
"Tortuga," Jack spoke to Gibbs, "Tortuga." The words flowed out like a harmony, and he glanced over at Mr. Gibbs with a light show in his eyes. It had been forever since Jack was on the sea, besides being chased by Davy Jones' beastie...
KAH-CHOO KAH..... CHOO.....
Jack Sparrow was sprawled out on the floor of the computer lab in the school. The computer straight to his left was on and humming, and Jack abruptly woke up, hitting his head on a chair right after his leg touched the ice-cold metal leg of the table.
"Ow," Jack spoke, rubbing his head and reaching for his sword that he was not allowed to have in school. That would be a good reason as to why is wasn't there.
Grunting, he sat up, realizing he was no where near the sea, or the Pearl, or Tortuga, or the rum... the rum? That was it. There was a liquor store right down the street from school. Having to wake up in this wretched place surely gave him a right to some alcohol. Springing to his feet, Jack was immediately to the door, scoping out the hallway for anyone who might see him leave. With no person in sight, Jack ran out and continued on his mission-impossible streak all of the way to the main entrance of the school.

It was still a few hours before first period, and the teacher's lounge was usually empty until later. However, when Esteleth approached she could hear singing. Turwaithion, or Professor Waith, was singing and sipping something out of a mug. Esteleth's nose wrinkled up. Coffee.
"Hello, Waith," she said, with a cheerfulness that was slightly faked. (Esteleth had decided against trying coffee. It smelled much too strong. And she wasn't a morning person, either.) "How are you?" She asked as she set about making some tea.

Qui-Gon was tired. He had made enough pancakes to feed over 3,000 hungry people, and he was ready to relax. But then a sudden thought occurred to him. He walked over to the counter where syrups and sauces were stored, and discovered to his chagrin that there was no maple syrup.
That wasn't good.
The Jedi racked his brain for where he could buy a large quantity of syrup. Wasn't there a grocery store near the school, next to a liquor store? For an instant he thought that it was probably a bad thing to have the school so close to a liquor store, but that thought was pushed to the back of his head as he left the cafeteria in search of syrup.

[so fast.... will edit in my rp when I read through everything]
William Turner stood just a few rows back from the grand stage, a hand on each hip as he stared at the velvet red curtains that were drawn apart as if it were a bonnie lass that he was on some journey to save. His brown eyes wide and a small smirk on his lips.
"This'll do..." He muttered briefly to himself, in just a while he would be officially the Theatre Professor of this school.
--------------
A-Rose sat at her desk, leather boots propped up on said desk, crossed at the ankles as her head tilted back over the back of the chair. Golden brown tresses cascading along the black leather chair as she stared at the ceiling.
"31, 32, 33..." A disturbance in the hallway broke through her counting and she growled. "I lost my track on the amount of holes in the ceiling... ye shall be sorry!" The English Teacher called out to whomever had caused such a racket.
---------------
Jacob tensed as he heard a voice yelling at him and he quickly went about collecting his books. He hadn't meant to drop them but he couldn't help himself, he could be a bit clumsy at times, not that he liked to share that with anyone.
This was his final year at Collingwood, he didn't need to go out with that reputation.

Maven could not have been more disappointed in her luck. There was no coffee. None! Nada, zip, zilch. She groaned and looked down at her coffee mug - her favorite with a line in the middle labeled "Half-empty," she felt it added and appropriate speck of sarcasm to her morning.
Although ever so fond of her bird assisting shade grown coffee she would have to make the trek across the quad - again - to the teacher's lounge for her morning drink. She sighed and turned from her coffee maker and was nearly out of the room when the Doctor finally made his presence known.
----------------------------------
The Doctor had traversed the short distance from the TARDIS to Maven's class in a matter of three point five minutes to be exact. He grinned and opened the door to the biology lab and sucked in a breath of air. Ahh! The sweet smell of school. It was lovely.
He saw to his small interest Maven mulling over her mug and maker intently. Being the gentleman he was, well, he wanted to see how long it would take her to realize someone had walked in, he waited quietly behind the large desk at the front of the class. He drummed his fingers on the desk and looked about the room and all the oddities collected over the years: projects, a few skeletons of various animals, things in formaldehyde....there was a whole jar full of dead unborn mice on the desk. That was odd. Even by his standards.
The woman just about walked out the door when he decided to speak up. "Hello there!"
He watched in amusement as she almost dropped the mug she was holding.
"When did you get in?" She asked looking at the man with wide brown eyes.
"Just now...well," he moved his head to the side, "a few minutes til now. But it doesn't matter. I wanted some coffee," he said, pulling out his smiley mug and shaking it.
"You and me both. We gotta go to the teacher's lounge. I'm out," she said with a sigh, looking down mournfully at her own empty mug.
"Right!" The annoying morning person replied hopping to his feet. "Allons-y!"
She rolled her eyes and stepped out, the Doctor close on her heels.
They arrived at the teacher's lounge which looked to be filling up rather quickly considering the time.
"Hello everyone!" The Doctor said waving at everyone his silly grin spread over his face.
Maven mumbled a hello and in a louder voice asked, "Coffee? Please tell me we have coffee..."

Analise quickly changed into a simple but cute red blouse and jeans before slipping into her sandals. Brushing her long blonde hair, she smiled slightly to herself. This was her last year here and she was determined to make it the best ever. Applying some light pink lip gloss, she grabbed her backpack with her books and headed out the door of her room. She could not afford to be late today of all days-that certainly was not a way to start off the year. Humming softly to herself she made her way to her first class.
Caspian groaned as he awoke. Monday. How he hated them. This was also his last year at the school and he certainly wished he could sleep in five more minutes. After changing into a shirt, dark pants and boots, he grabbed his backpack with his books inside, walked out of his room and headed in the direction of what would be his first class of the day.

((Sure, that'd be great! ))
Groaning, Marianna rolled over in bed and bonked the top of her alarm clock. That'll settle you down, she muttered under her breath. After performing a series of brief stretches, she plopped her feet down on the floor and heaved herself up. Collingwood Academy, Day One, she thought to herself as she stumbled over to the closet. Perhaps I should wear something impressive... or... professional-looking, she mused. They do say that first impressions are very important...
Soon, a large pile of clothes lay on the floor immediately outside the closet. "Aha!" A delighted, slightly muffled voice called in triumph from within. "That's where you went to," she said to her delicately ruffled blouse as she minced her way around the pile of assorted clothing. Deciding that jeans would have to work for bottoms today, she threw on her clothes and pushed a slender headband into her hair. "Au revoir!" she softly said to the room, whirling around to grab her ready book bag. She pushed open the door and paused for a moment, looking back. "Wish me luck... because I have a feeling I'll need it."

Indilwen walked solemnly through the new halls. Her hands were folded behind her back, underneath her long, swaying dark hair. She'd never had to do something like this - teach a class of... of mere... children! Teaching one or two, three at most, of them would be something she could handle... but a whole class... Her shoulders tensed up ever so slightly. The Curon did sound very nice at this point. That ship was home sweet home, this... was not. Plain and simple. Hearing voices, she peered into the teachers lounge. The air inside smelled strangely good, although she did not recognize the scent. Curiosity forced her to step inside the door.

Owen Harper clasped his bag together and walked out of the flat he was renting. He didn't have his coffee today yet and as such was extremely irritable as the oblivious jogger found to her dismay. He stopped by his favorite cafe only to be greeted by a sign that said they were closed for the foreseen future. When things rained, they poured like hell, he thought as he went for the Starbucks where he had an argument with the stupid idiot that messed up his cappuccino.
Finally getting his daily fix on caffeine, he went ahead to his first day on the job from Jack. He could have sent Ianto or Gwen or Tosh but no, it had to be the medic. Well, there were some good looking students in the classroom and the teachers weren't anything like the ones he had when he was in school. So there was some compensations.

He said, draining his cup. Setting it down, he carved a lump out of a nearby marble cake, chewing thoughtfully as he took in Esteleth's tea making. "How're you?" He asked her, swallowing.
Maven and John Smith, 'Doc' as Waith called him, both entered the lounge. Waith raised a hand in greeting.

Caspian was about to enter the school building when he saw Analise walking toward him. A soft smile traced his lips as their eyes met and he waited for her to catch up.
“Good morning,” Analise greeted him with a warm smile when she finally caught up to him.
“Morning.” Caspian returned her greeting. “You look lovely,” he added with another smile.
Analise blushed slightly at the compliment, pleased by it, though she figured he was just being kind. “Thanks. You look good yourself,” she replied and Caspian just chuckled a response. Opening the door, he stood back to let her enter.
“Why, thank you, kind prince,” she said with a mischievous smile as she stepped inside.
Caspian only shook his head, hearing the teasing tone in her voice. “Shall I escort the lady to her room?” he asked in the same teasing vein.
Analise chuckled. “My aren’t you a gallant one?” she remarked. “And they say chivalry is dead.”
“Well, not yet anyway.” Caspian replied as the two walked along the hallway.
Seeing Jacob in the hall not far from where they were, Analise decided to get the fellow senior’s attention. “Hey Jacob!” she called in greeting, hoping he would notice them.

Jacob had just righted himself up when he heard a familiar voice calling out his name. Hoisting his backpack over one shoulder he turned around and his lips quirked in a smirk when his eyes caught sight of his fellow classmate.
"Mornin' Analise" He greeted to girl as he walked towards her, pleased that the teacher that had called out to him earlier wasn't coming out and reprimending him for the distraction he had caused.

Analise returned the smile as Jacob greeted her. "Hello, Jacob." Caspian said in greeting to his classmate as he walked over.
"Well, since this is our last year here, we are going to have to make it the most memorable one," Analise said after a moment.
"At our school that shouldn't be hard to do," Caspian replied, knowing full well that crazy things just seemed to happen Collingwood.
Analise just shrugged. That was true. Weird things just seem to happen, without any of them trying to hard sometimes-though she had to admit that sometimes the students helped the "weird" along.
