"That is so, yes," Tal replied. "You have been elevated since I was last there--you were not an acting ambassador then," he added, looking Yrudit up and down. He hadn't seen many lizardmen, and Yrudit was the only one whose name he actually knew.

"You will be walking, yes?" he asked. If someone else was walking, than it might not disturb the others so much--in his opinion, horses were only to be ridden on when there was no other choice. They always seemed to be extra frisky when he rode them, and would prance around until they nearly jolted his brains out. Apalling creatures.

Yrudit bared his fangs in what passed for a reptalian grin - a sight that sent the average person skittering away. "Picture me astride a horse," he replied, sweeping his arm expansively at himself. "If I remember correctly, they say you are adept at healing."

"Aye, that is where my talents lie. I can manipulate the flame, but that can only be used for destruction, and to do that I am loathe, for the flame destroys faster than I can heal, and it spreads out of control sometimes," Tal replied. Taking another glance at the lizardman, he smiled as he thought of Yrudit on a horse. It was indeed an unusual picture. The Gifted must have even more trouble than he did when mounted, though not very many could claim such a thing.

"Where do your Gifts lie?" Tal asked the lizardman. To have been born in the Waste--and survive--would need something that could be used against others well, or to recover from many injuries. That left only Telekinesis, manipulation of the flame, manipulation of the ground, and healing. One of those would be the lizardman's gifts, Tal decided, or Yrudit would be much more skilled than he looked, even given the benefit of the doubt.

(How about we skip to the part at the city with the gifted/exalted;just a suggestion)

((Good idea I'll start us off...))

"Princess..." murmured the guards, bowing respectfully. Silvryn smiled a little and moved past them, followed by the rest. "Follow me," she said over her shoulder, and proceeded to lead them through a twisting maze of streets to a stately building not far from the palace.

Entering, they found it quite beautifully furnished, and inhabited as well. "Aedha, if you would," requested Silvryn dismissively, and as was her wont, disappeared.

Aedha turned. "This is where the other Gifted and Exalted have been staying," she explained rather shyly. "They should be here if you'd like to meet them."

eryn nervously stood waiting to meet the exalted/gifted.

Near the back of the group, Yrudit stood regarding the room and flicking his forked tongue back and forth by habit. He'd travelled to this city as ambassador numerous times, but its pristine beauty never failed to amaze him. He couldn't help but contrast it to the squat villages of compact sand that so characterized his race.

He nodded at Aedha's words and waited a bit uneasily. The last time he'd visited, he'd left off negotiations at less than amiable terms.

Penfire stayed by Silvryn's side the whole time waiting. He had been here once before, but only once, yet was very courageaus, and not nervous at all. At the corner of his eye, he watched the others without showing it.

Darnel kept glancing at Eryn. Something seemed strange, yet familiar about her. He wanted to just go up to her and ask 'do I know you from somewere?' but restrained the urge. He had had a terrible head ache the day after they left the outpost, due to being drunk, but now had a sharp mind, and smartly kept his tounge between his teeth...

(Just a sidenote concerning the Exalted, guys..there should be very few of them among the Gifted, as they are considered legends, and not very common at all. Well, not common in every generation, anyway.)

Tal didn't bother trying to hide his curiousity as he stared around--they hadn't had anything like this in the Desert of Abyth. No palaces, not even any cities. Just tents. He had seen places similar to this palace in grandeur, having trained with the Order for thirteen years.

This palace might have been designed after that one, or that one might have been designed after this one, but either way, they were remarkably similar, which sparked his curiousity.

Remembering that there were members of the Order here, he asked a question.

"Who of my prestigious Order is staying here? I may or may not wish to meet with them again."

He smiled at the latter part of his question--he had parted with some members on less than favorable terms.

Kjiro heard some commotion in the main hall of the building that he was staying in, and proceded to let curiosity take him over as he quietly snuck down the hallways and peeked around a corner, unseen. Seeing who it was however, he calmly, and formally (he hoped) Walked into the room and bowed to Silvryn.

"Your Highness." He then surveyed the group, and turned back to Silvryn, "Ti ivn hon kyar... Cien hek viar?" (lit. "If its not too rude... Who are they?) He asked this in the toungue native to his land, which he knew the princess understood, as she was very well educated, as anyone would be if they were royalty. Still looking the group over, he waited for her answer.

((I hope its ok that I kinda... Well, made up a new language. (More like: Hey! Lets type out some random, non english words and call it a language! *cough* No, jk.)))
