Paris' eyes never left those of Menelaos who was only a couple feet away from him. His adrenaline was rushing and he was anxious to begin.
He hopped of his horse and nodded toward his brother. Pulling the sword of Troy from it's sheath, it glimmered in the hot sunlight.
Paris turned and looked toward the tall balcony which held Helen and his father King Priam.

Paris continued to stare at the balcony with longing and fear. Would he see her again? Would he ever hold her again? Would this be the last day of his life?
