Alex flopped on the ground, exhausted. "I was gonna go see the dolphins in Australia," he mumbled, hardly coherently. Without asking, he grabbed the CD player from Jimmy's pocket and jammed the headphones on.

Jimmy tried to roll over, but his the lower half of his body was still numb.
He cursed and said, "Alex, dude, you son of a butthead...that CD cost me fourty dumb dollars!"

Mark trembled uncontrolably. His eyes were wild with fear and shock. He sat down onto the dirt ground and stared up at Alex, Nessa, and Chris with confusion.

Alex turned up the volume and screwed his face into a confused expression. He leaned closer to Jimmy. "What? I can't hear you. Speak louder."

Still feigning stupidity, Alex turned the volume up even louder. His eyes widened, and he began nodding as if he understood. He pointed at the CD player, then at Jimmy. "What'd you say? You're hungry? Want a donut?"

"Shut up, Alex, and give him his stupid CD player," said Nessa irritably, not really expecting him to listen but saying it anyway. She sank to the ground, with a plaintive, "Ow," as her ankle twinged. "It's so numb I can barely feel it."

Jimmy punched Alex dead in the nose.
Even though his lower half body was numb to the bone, doesn't mean his upper body still didn't have its normal strength.
Eh hem..anyway, back to the story.

Chris raised his eyebrows, then turned his back to the scene and started to walk off. He didn't know where he would go but he wasn't going stay with that bunch of idiots. If they wanted to fight, fine, but he wouldn't sit and wait there.
"Are you coming with me?" Chris said while looking at Mark and Nessa, offering an arm to help her up.

He cast a quick glance at Mark and expected he would follow if he felt like joining them. "Does your ankle hurt alot?" he asked worried. "You can lean on me if you need to."

Nessa nodded. "I agree, but do you think we should just leave them here? I mean, Jimmy is hurt, and much as I would like to let them solve their own problems..." she trailed off, and grinned apologetically. "It does kinda hurt. Thanks - I really should have done something about it earlier but there were spiders and those snakes and there just wasn't time."

Chris looked back and sighed, feeling rather irritated. "I don't feel like playing referee or babysitter. First they ran off into the jungle, getting stuck in a huge spiderweb while attracting all the dino's in this area. Now they like to quarrel over a CD-player."
He shook his head and ran with his fingers through his blond hair.
"Maybe you need to cool your ankle? We need to find water-" He abrubtly stopped in the middle of his sentence as he thought of what they all needed.
Then he sighed again and said: "Why did I have to leave so soon.. I should have stayed.."

Although Mark's attention was on Jimmy and Alex's fight, he did hear the word "water".
Tugging on Chris' sleeve, he asked annoyingly, "I want some water too! I'm really thirsty. Where's water? Do you know?" Whether Nessa or Chris asked Mark to come along.....he was going with them.
