He smiled as she took his hand and then quickly turned around and lightly punched Sirius on the shoulder.
"I was distracted with more important things." he said slightly shrugging and then he grinned "And talking about that, Padfoot where were you last night? Your bed looked terribly empty this morning."

"I ended up catching a few z's in the libray, it was mainly to get some peace and quiet from your snoring" he replied grinning, re adjusting his bag on his shoulder.

James narrowed his eyes but decided to stay silent this time "Library? Padfoot, you keep dissapointing me mate." he dramatically shook his head "And soon I'll be seeing you jumping around in a dress." he said and grinned.

Sirius raised an eyebrow.
"Man your ryhmeing, and it's freaking me out" he replied laughing.
"Anyway i can't be bothered to do any more lessons today - " he cut off and looked at Lily.
"Prongs, can we trust her?" he asked in a more serious tone.

James laughed as he heard that. Really he didn't notice that his sentences sounded different. He nodded as Sirius continued. Without even looking at Lilly he said "Yes we can."

Dani looked over at James and Sirius as they began to talk, then sighed and looked back down at her book. She overheard them mention that night. 'Oh well...' she thought, 'At least it's alone time. She put her elbow on the table and leaned her head into her hand, closing her eyes. Time for a 30-second morning nap...

She suddenly felt her hand sliding out from under her head and her head falling...she jerked awake, then groaned and yawned sleepily. She quickly vanished the mouse in front of her, then crossed her arms over her desk and put the side of her head on top of them, a comfortable class sleeping position. She sighed through her nose and closed her eyes.

Lily was listening to their conversation, and was still consious that she was holding James' hand.

"Erm...Anyone know what time he ball starts?" she asked.

Sirius looked at Lily, before returning his gaze to James.
"I'm gonna go, i'll see you later" he said walking away, heading towards the entrance hall and then outside.

James nodded to Sirius "Yes, see you later. Don't fall asleep in the library again. I'll need you for... You know the grand opening." he said grinning and then turned back to Lilly "Well, I think that we still have plenty of time. Few hours at least."

Sirius walked out of the castle and down the sweeping lawn, he headed towards the forest, pulling James' invisibilty cloak out of his bag he swung it over his shoulders and entered the cool shady forest.
