Falcon nodded and turned to Shade. "I must catch up with you again, my friend. I must go and sit with my house, but maybe I will see you out on the pitch or talk to you later?" He asked, giving Shade a brief hug before also hugging Layien. "Keep your brother in line until I can help him cause trouble." He told her and grinned. He finally turned to look at Emmeline and grinned. "A pleasure and a honor to meet you, Emmeline, and hopefully I will get the honor again soon." Then, grinning, Falcon headed off towards the Ravenclaw table.

Layien turned to Emmeline and giggled with her as Shade rolled his eyes. "I agree..." Layien said, but then added, "but I could never go out with him. I have known him to long...besides...you two looked good together." She said, winking.

Laughing and talking rather loudly - as only a group of friends such as theirs could - Madison, Aidan, Aaron, and Jacob stood together in the Great Hall for a moment longer, before splitting up. Jacob went straight to the Ravenclaw table, Aaron to Hufflepuff, leaving Madison and Aidan to find places at Gryffindor, towards the middle.

"Didn't think we'd ever get here this morning." Aidan observed after sitting down, reaching immediately for a nearby platter of sausage and bacon.

"I know, but we hadn't seen them all summer..and the train trip was rather too hectic to do much catching up." Madison said softly, pouring herself a glass of milk.

"Don't remind me of that." Aidan muttered darkly, glancing surreptitiously to the Slytherin table, where he swore he saw Zabini talking smugly to a group of his stupid friends. "And guess who else decided to show his face in here.."

"Not Zabini." Madison groaned, looking in the direction Aidan was, only to meet Zabini's gaze straight on. Managing a glare, she looked away as he smirked at her. "That little git.."

Further ruminations on her part were halted as she gathered a couple pieces of toast and began spreading jam thickly onto it.

"At least he's not near enough to 'talk to'." Aidan offered inbetween mouthfuls of sausage.

"I guess..that's all I need this morning, a Slytherin like him on my case."
