Inadvertently biting her tongue, Calista's mouth and throat began to fill up with blood, preventing any air from reaching her lungs as she continued to convulse.

Maybe it would be better if she did, Darius thought to himself though he did not say it aloud, hating how they always seemed to drop everything for Calista.

A small trickle of blood dribbled from Calista's mouth as she continued to convulse for a few more minutes. As quickly as her seizing started, it ended, and Calista just lay lifelessly on the bed, still unable to breathe.

Just then Gareth came. "Is everything ok?" He asked before paleing on seeing Calista limp on the bed.

"Fine," Darius remarked as he left Rosalina's room, still mentally cursing the elder sister.

Walking brusquely over to the bedside, Gareth just scanned the limp woman for any sign of life. "Let me take her," he told Rosalina softly, wanting to see if he could loosen whatever was blocking her airway, the blue coloring of her skin unnerving him. "What happened?" he asked her next, worry in his eyes.

Grimacing at Rosalina's words, Gareth nodded as he gently lifted Calista from the bed. Laying her down on the ground carefully so he would not harm her further, Gareth gently turned the woman's head to the side before he pushed down on her stomach and managed to force the blood from throat and mouth. Carefully lifting her up again, Gareth tenderly laid the woman back down on the bed before cleaning her mouth.

Growling quietly, Gareth could only feel his anger and hatred at Darius grow. "What in Hades was he thinking?!" the mage snarled. "He had no right to treat her as he did," he muttered as he placed his ear next to her face to see if she was breathing. Feeling no air coming from her lungs, Gareth cursed silently before starting to give her mouth to mouth, the darkening bluish tint in her skin not lost upon him.

"I think he blames Cali for whats happened, with us having to run, and for what happened to me." rosalina answered quietly looking down not wanting to look at her sister.

Gareth did not make a comment to Rosalina as he still continued to perform mouth to mouth on Calista. A few minutes later, Calista began to cough as air slowly seeped into her lungs and she weakly started to breathe on her own. "That's it, Calista," Gareth whispered encouragingly to the practically lifeless woman. "It still does not give him an excuse," the mage finally replied to Rosalina. "I cannot be certain, but I suspect that all of this stemmed from an asthma attack because she wanted to make the hospitable for Darius and myself," he added before turning his attention back to Calista. Wanting to help her breathe, Gareth laid his hands over the limp woman's chest and slowly concentrated to fill her lungs up with air.

As her breathing deepened, Calista groaned softly as the blue coloring slowly faded from her lips and fingertips. Five minutes later, Calista's eyelids fluttered and her fingers twitched slightly as she started to come around.

Hearing two voices near her, Calista let out another soft groan as her eyelids continued to flutter. After a few moments she was finally able to open her eyes to narrow slits. "Ro....Gareth...?" she murmured as she gazed up at them with bleary eyes before she started to cough.
