Aranthor watched her double carefully, but it did not stir. She carefully stood up.
She bowed her head and closed her eyes. Then with all her power she screamed as loud as she could, but in her mind, "Asmundr!!!!" She opened her eyes in time to see Azra flinch at the power of her 'voice'.

He turned around to her and smiled sarcastically. A look whitch said plainly 'I can do this by myself thanks'. The double jerkerd up to its feet. Its features changeing, so that they still resembled Aranthor, yet also showed Asmunders features clearly. The woman in front of them was corrupted, twisted.
"Why do you summon me little ones? Have you finally come to your senses and wish to surrender?" The voice was mocking, echoing, yet with still a faint resemblance to Aranthors.

Estelle stepped forward, her rich brown eyes ablaze with anger. "Do you think we fear you, Asmundr?" she challenged. "Your malice has ruined the lives of both gods and mortals alike. You will be brought to justice." she stated, her voice ringing with fury.

Aranthor quietly stood back. "We are not the only ones who should have a say in the matter." she said quietly, "It seems that you, Asmundr, have forgotten the importance of letting the people decide themselves what their future will bring." Her face was sad, but she looked Asmundr in the eye, waiting for his response. "Whether you like it or not, your people are going to go up against you. You cannot choose someone else's fate, you can write their story for them."

"You havn't told them..." Asmunda chuckled "Well, when you question him you;ll discover that your dear Azra surrendered that power to his presiouse Balance, beliveing it to be the better course for mankind. Fortunatly his safegards aginst it being reclaimed were pathetic. Now I hold that power." he laughed once more and the double fell lifeless before thier eyes before melting into the mist.

Azra looked at the ground and turned away. "I thought it would be safe. Now you see why i must kill his people. If he holds the Balance then he has the power to force me to his will, and if that happens...I will be forced to kill you." he spun round, his face full of remorse "No God should ever have that power, do you not see why i had to resighn it, why i could never tell you I had the power to destoy the world, you would have killed me in fear." He looked at them desperately, begging for understanding and forgiveness for giveing the greatest weopan to the enemy.

Aranthor's eyes became confused, she was trying to decide her point of view. Was Azra wrong for what he had did, and should be unished for it? Or should she forgive him, for giving their enemy advantage over them, to help him win the war.
She made up her mind. Her eyes changed from harsh to soft, "I do not understand exactly why you did it, but I do know I will not hold it against you." she said softly. Then she turned to Estelle, waiting for her reaction.

Estelle drew in a breath to steady her emotions. A part of her was more furious at the god than she had ever been, at least the world had been safer when the power of death was beyond Asmundr's control. Yet, could she really hold it against him for wanting to be rid of such a power? She herself despised death, was it fair to ask another to bear that burden?

Estelle slowly nodded as she gazed into Azra's eyes, knowing that his remorse was true. "Nor shall I hold it against you." she said finally, her voice gentle yet resolute. "What's done is done. We must now plan our next move."
