"Jack... ye don't remember where yer from, or even ye are. You don't know how much that saddens me. You didn't even remember me." She said, with a sad tone. She looked to the ground, and covered her mouth from crying.

Portia sighed and picked up a cannonball. "I'm sorry, Jack." She whispered. "I love ya." She walked up to him, quickly and whacked him in the side of the head with it. She then set it down and started crying, while looking at what she had done.

The sound of the cannonball hitting poor old Jack on the head could not be explained. If it could be, it would sound like a watermellon with a metal ring to it. Jack's eyes rolled back into his head. And for his body? It had fallen harshly to the floor with a loud thud. He was out cold...but one could wonder, if the hit to the head even worked?

Portia covered her mouth, and started crying harder. She couldn't believe what she had done to Jack. She backed away from his body and went against the wall. She sank to the ground and tried not looking at it. She was going to have nightmares about the way he looked. She couldn't stop crying, because the image of him kept replaying in her mind.

Devina wandered below deck again afew hours later. She caught sight of Jack on the floor and Portia "You gone mad?!" she said "You trying to kill him?! If I'd known that, I wouldnt have locked ya down here in the first place....... Portia mate, thats over the line." You turned around, and waved for a crew member. He stepped up and unlocked the cage, then simply threw her in the next cell along. "Give the old captin some rum and leave him." she snapped at him. He shook his head "I'm not goin' in t'er Cap'n.... Its bad luck." Devina shoved him out the way "When you wnat something done, do it yourself..." She plucked a bottle of rum, and went into the cell. As soon as she was in, she lifted Jacks head roughly, and poured rum over the wound.

"Devina... I was only doin' it ta get his memory back!" She yelled, while continuing to cry. She watched her pour rum on Jack's head, from the other cell. She then looked to the ground and sighed. She wiped her tears away and remained silent.

Jack's body looked dead. It didn't move or flinch. The rum poured over his head, but it didn't wake him up....

Portia looked to Jack, and sighed. She hoped that she hadn't killed him with what she did to him. She bit her lip softly, trying her hardest to ignore Devina's rude comments. She sighed, sadly.

Portia laid down on the hard, cold floor and stared at it for the longest time. She didn't know what she was going to do. She slowly closed her eyes and went to sleep, hoping that everything would be the same when she woke up. Hoping it was all just some weird dream.

Two hours had passed, and not a sound came from the practically dead Sparrow. Finally, the silence was broken and a muffled moan of pain came from his mouth.

Portia was still asleep, when Jack had awaken. She was having a bad dream about what she had done to Jack. His scared eyes kept replaying in her mind, which made her toss and turn in her sleep. She had a pained look on her face.
