Kim lay amidst the rubble of the wall she was just sent crashing through.
Groaning, she was relieved to know she was breathing. Even if it caused her immense pain.

The machine turned to Talim and launched itself at her throwing punches into her gut and throwing her backwards. It then turned back to Kim and sped into the mansion through the hole, finding her and charging straight at her.

Talim tried putting up a Nexxus but it was too fast for her to block and was throwing punches at her. As she was being pushed back, she felt an arm snake around her neck and hold her still while the machine pummeled her into oblivion.

Kim heard the trudging heavy feet of the machine coming towards her. She lay still and waited for it to come closer.

The machine trudged through the wreckage, crushing planks of wood and chunks of concrete under his feet. As it approached the seemingly unconcious Kim it opened it's hands out ready to finish the choking job.

Talim slumped as the machine left to go get Kim again. The arm held her up though, and began to choke her.

Kim felt it's presence near her. She took a deep breath in and looked up at it with hard eyes.
"Go to hell" with the last remainder of her energy she pushed harder than she'd ever pushed her powers before. Emitting a large hard blast towards the machine.

The machine stopped and watched as its left arm was blown clear off at the shoulder. What left was an open wound, filled with wires and electricity spurting out. Its head juddered with a slight shock but soon it returned to normal facing Kim. It bent down and began choking her with a stong hand.


The cavern left by the explosion was still and empty... A figure ran into the building, his clothes torn to shreds and he had cuts and bruises all over, blood covered his face. He dived at the machine and they both landed with a clataclismic thud, breaking floor boards. The man lay on top of it for a moment breathless.
"Thought you could use a hand..." The voice being the familure biker, John Magnus.
He began pumiling the machine.

Kim steadily got up onto her feet, her legs shaking. Looking in amazement as she seen the familiar face of her old friend.
She knew she had to recharge before she could be of any use to him.

John kept hitting it over and over in the face, crying out with each punch.
"Keep... me. ...down.... will ....ya?!"
The biker grew tired and stopped just looking at it through a mask of blood. It punched him in the gut with it's one good hand sending him flying through the ceiling and falling next to it with a groan. The machine had lost the use of an eye and it's head twitched from side to side now and again.
John looked up at it, "Any time Kim."

Kim lookd over at John and the machine. She didn't have much left but she would give it all she had.
Summoning every last bit of strength in her she let loose a massive concussive force at the machine.

The machine launched backwards, hitting John and taking the biker with it. They both smashed through another wall, breaking the floorboards again. The machine's head twitched again along with its whole body. The voice in it's sounded panicky.
"Wha? What's happening? Sentinel?!"
The transimision cut out and the machine shook violently, making a small explosion.
John lay in a small hole, still. His body smouldering from the heat of the explosion.

Kim waited for a few moments. Squinting her eyes to look through the small plume of smoke.
She walked forward cautiously.
"John? Big Guy?" she called out to her friend.

He lift a hand to his head and sighed.
