The small kitten hissed and then turned upward toward Logan's arms and gripped on with his claws. Apparently it did not want to be placed on the ground....especially by the tail.

Warren was now level with some of the helicopters, but it didn't look like he could do much. He had no special powers....he could only fly....

"Warren" Amber called out to him "Go help Pete, I can do this." she said, now feeling more confident than before. "And try and get everyone to a safe distance, I don't think this is gonna be pretty" she flew even further back.
Amber was used to the Danger Room now, it's a big room but because of the technology she admittedly knew very little about. It could create a much larger environment.
Swooping up another ten or fifteen feet, Amber turned sharply round and waited for the missiles to home in on her and the heatwaves she was sending out.

"Hey!" Logan shouted as the cat buried it's nails into his skin. "Watch it bub, or you'll feel my claws..."
He then repeated as necessary, but this time, threw the cat to the ground.

The cat scurried away from Logan and disappeared in a midst of pixels. Apparently the program had some glitches still....
Warren looked to Piotr and flew toward him, "What do you need me to do?"
Meanwhile, missles of a red orangish glow shot toward Amber at about thirty miles per hour.

Everything and everyone around her now was completely out of focus. All her thoughts were consumed by the oncoming missiles and how to stop them. They were moving fast, but it seemed like Amber was waiting an eternity for them to get within range. The air around her began to warp, as her external temperature began to get hotter and hotter. Extending out her hands, she created a wall of heat in front of her, it glowed brightly.
With determination etched on her face, she pushed the wall outwards. The missiles seemed to stop in mid-air, but they were still an active threat. One slip of concentration could ruin it all.

" Just wait," he whispered.
He gleamed and it hurt his own eyes her he went to shield himself from the sun. But with all the sliding rock he wasn't going to take the chances of falling and not having time to change into his metal form.

The heat from Amber felt like a hot ultraviolet ray of the sun. Warren could feel his skin becoming singed from it. "Aww...awww...Awwww! HOT!" he yelped. He gripped onto the cliff and collasped his wings behind him, hiding in the shadow of Piotr....trying to get some shade away from the intense heat.

Piotr of course vaguely felt the heat but then he widened his stance for the burst of air that was coming with it.
" WE just have to let Amber do this by her self, " he cringed as the plants on the cliff withered beneath his feet.

Amber's brow furrowed in deep concentration. She had the missiles locked in her grip. Her head began to pound, it was like a migraine times ten. "I...have to hold on" she muttered, breathlessly.
She felt the missiles begin to break through her defenses.
"This is it" she thought "Now or never"
Amber dug deep into the very core of her power, the one that she always held back. It was a risky move, but she had to destroy the missiles.
She felt the energy around her increase, the aura around her now was substantial and only a feint silhouette amongst the orangey glow could be seen from below.

Warren looked away from Amber. She was becoming too bright to even look upon. He cringed in pain, as the tips of his feathers began to smoke.

Logan's head shot up. He lifted up his forearm to try and shield the light from burning his eyes out.
He squinted, barely catching the figure of Amber, "BE CAREFUL!" he shouted up towards her.

Amber began to push forward with all her strength, focussing hard on the two missiles locked on her. Her heart that was racing before, was slowing to a steady pace. There was no more fear, no more anxiety. It was time to let go of the power, let it destroy both missiles. No matter the consequences to herself.
With one last push forward with her power, the missiles simultaneously exploded, sending Amber hurtling backwards at a breakneck speed. Everything faded to black as she lost conciousness.

Piotr raced off the cliff as he saw Amber fall from the sky
With amazing speed for his weight he ran until he came to her laying on the ground. He picked her up and gently wispered in her ear, even though he knew she couldn't hear him, " You did good babe, You make us all proud,"
He then picked her up in his arms and waited for the simulation to drop. As soon as it did he ran her into the cotrol room and put her on the floo. He throughly examined her under the lights.
" She's fine," he mumbled joyously to himself

Warren was right behind Piotr the entire time. He needed to know if Amber would be all right. Kneeling beside her, he placed his hand gently on her forehead, "Amber? Amber? Can you hear me?" His eyes searched her face for any sign of mobility.
