His body had landed face down on the floor. A stain of blood was on the ground from the leak of the wound in his head. Then again, another muffled groan came out from underneath the body, this one louder.

Portia awoke from her nightmare, with a gasp and wide eyes. She looked around the room, catching her breath. She heard Jack's groan and smiled a little. "Jack?" She whispered. "Are ya okay?" She watched him, worriedly.

Finally, there was momevent from the body of Jack. He brought his hands in slowly by his sides to lift his face off the ground. But he couldn't do it..he was having much difficulty. And I'm sure you would too if you were knocked on the side of the head with a cannonball.

Portia bit her lip, nervously. She would've been by Jack's side to help him up in an instant. But, she was now in another cell. She sighed and looked to the ground. "I'm sorry, that ya feel so bad." She told him, softly. She started nervously twirling her fingers.

Jack tried the attempt again and flopped back down onto the floor. He muttered something under his breath as he tried this for about another five times, each with the same result.

Portia watched Jack, finding little humor in the situation. She just shook her head and stared at the floor again. She didn't know what to do to help him through this. There probably wasn't a solution, until he could get himself up.

Jack groaned some more. After what seemed like hours for him, he just simply rolled over. Very slowly I might add. His dark eyes finally blinked open and he stared at the ceiling above him. He then felt a shooting pain in the back of his head and he said, "Ah...my head..." He winced his face in pain.

Portia closed her eyes, sadly. This was all of her fault. She had just wanted to old Jack back. And she didn't even know if it worked. She slowly leaned her head back against the wall, and hoped to God that Jack was going to be fine and remember everything.

Jack's body finally sat up. His back was hunched and doubled over the lower half of his body. He held the back of his head feeling the huge wound. He looked around the room and caught Portia in the corner. He stared at her for a long time.

Portia felt Jack's eyes on her, so she slowly opened hers and looked back to him. "What is it?" She asked him, a little scared of what he might say. If Jack remembered her doing that to him, he would never forgive her.

Jack looked around the room some more, still holding the back of his head gently, feeling the warmth of the blood on the palm of his hand. His focus came back to look at Portia and he raised an eyebrow, "What are ye doin' in the cell for?"
