Giving Rosalina a soft smile, Darius kissed her lightly on the lips.

Catalina just continued to convulse in her husband's arms, unaware of his pleadings. As she continued to shake, vomit lodged itself in her throat and a harsh gasping came from her throat as she started to choke.

Gareth paled further at the sound of her choking. "No." He repeated, unsure of what to do.

As her convulsions continued, Catalina's choking only became worse. As she found herself unable to breathe, Catalina's blue eyes rolled back behind her closed eyelids and a bluish tint started to appear in her skin and a harsh rattling started to come from her throat.

As Gareth pushed on her stomach, a small trail of vomit dribbled from Catalina's lips as she still continued to convulse. After about five minutes, Catalina's convulsions ceased and she just flopped down limply on the bed.

When her husband called out to her, Catalina just lay motionless on the bed, out cold. Her fever raged through her body and a fresh sheen of sweat bathed her pale face. As he checked for her pulse, Gareth would be able to detect the extremely faint pulsing of her blood as she drew in breaths so weak that it almost seemed as if she ceased to breathe.

Gareth, while grateful she still drew breath, did the only thing he knew, which was to give her mouth to mouth

Catalina remained limp on the bed as Gareth gave her mouth to mouth. While she was alive, she remained practically unresponsive to his ministrations and her breathing still remained very shallow.

Opening her eyes slightly as she continued to cough, Catalina gazed up at her husband with glazed blue eyes. "Is-is something-wrong, love?" she whispered hoarsely as she saw his sad smile, not remembering any of her convulsions. Nor did she like to see Gareth sad about anything. She loved him deeply and would give all that she could to see him happy.

Weakly wrapping her arms around Gareth, Catalina feebly tried to rub his back in a comforting manner. "It-it's okay, my love," she whispered. "I-I'm here," she murmured, her voice faint. "N-nothing....will...part us...." she muttered weakly.
