He didn't take long to answer. "Just here on the track today." He didn't want to push Josh hard today. He still worried about his injury.

Josh made his way to the track. He loved running, and started at a fast jog.

Jaden moved in behind Josh and Luke on the track.
He wasn't the best at running, but he wasn't that bad.
Regardless of his skill he always liked to be behind the others to watch how they did things, take it in and see if he could improve his own technique.

Luke jogged next to Josh occasionally glancing his way to see how he was doing. The wind blew against his skin and it made his hair blow in different directions.

Jaden followed along behind at a casual pace for starters... then moved up toa fast pace as they continued.

After about running 2 miles, Josh slowed down, taking a break. He had an annoying ach in his arm now, but had a good while to think.

The short run did Jaden good. Gave him time to clear his mind... take his mind off his father.

Luke saw how the boys were slowly slowing down. He stopped the running and placed his hands on his knees so that he could rest. "You two doin' all right?" A smile spread across his dry lips.

Luke, seeing what condition the boys were in, especially Josh spoke up and said, "That's enough for today. Let's head back." Instead of waiting for their reply, he started jogging back.
